Role Focus:
The associate will be responsible for all phases and operation of (Polisher process and CIP) RO/UF, CM RO/ AM RO/UF, Niro Evaporator. RO Operator - Whey Department. Secondary Job: Intake Operator Land O'Lakes, Inc.
In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Dairy Food business who creates dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe there's power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people's lives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for properly setting up RO's, UF and Niro units for operation. Check all pumps, valves, pipelines, hoses, and connections for proper hook-up.
Responsible for setup, start up, teardown, shut down, CIP/COP and troubleshooting of RO's, UF, Polisher and Niro units.
Proper operation of RO's and UF units so that proper temperatures, flows, pressures, PDB's and solids are maintained.
Responsible for proper chlorination and cleanup of units and associated pipelines and pumps and floors as required.
Monitor and document fluxes and conductivities and perform all testing and sampling required
Responsible for keeping outside of equipment clean and area clean and orderly.
Operation of heat treatment plates (heating and cooling) to assure satisfactory product to Proliant.
Maintain proper, legible and accurate records of operation during shift, including Process Control Charts.
Operation of RO's and proper blending of lactose.
Be familiar and capable of doing CIP of any system in the RO/UF and Niro room.
Initiate setup, shutdown, teardown, CIP/COP and troubleshoot equipment.
Perform all sampling and testing as required.
Maintain and assist in completion of Master Sanitation schedule items and and follow all sanitation and quality SOP's to ensure all equipment is clean and ready for production.
Insure good communication between different process technicians and shifts.
Enter data from RO's /UF/NIRO into computer database for daily reports.
Participate in the plant safety program, including timely completion of safety training. Reporting of injuries and working proactively to prevent injuries
Participate in 5S program to contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP guidelines and LQMS requirements
Other duties as assigned by Shift Lead or Production Manager
Preferred Education:
High School diploma equivalent or higher

2+ years of manufacturing experience
Prior high speed, high tech manufacturing experience

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role you will get to:
Safely operate the cable print machine for manufacturing cable products while conforming to the quality requirements.
Able to understand the job orders and interact with Epicor.
Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
Must understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart and to operate the equipment.
Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in machine operation or mechanical ability & aptitude to understand how manufacturing equipment works together in a line to produce high quality products.
2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma
Technical secondary education is preferred.
Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products.
Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required

Reporting to the Production Manager, Production Supervisor or designate; the Robot Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the robot welder.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load parts in appropriate fixturing and run robot welder while maintaining established productivity rates & quality requirements.
Examine welded sections for defects and perform necessary rework of bad welds.
Reference prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, tools, resources, and procedures for effectively completing processes.
Perform in-process quality checks to verify parts meet customer specifications using test fixturing, rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Perform minor machine adjustments & preventative maintenance.
Analyze and resolves work problems, or assist in solving work problems.
Work in a safe manner by wearing proper PPE & following all safety procedures/polices.
Comply with ISO 9001 standards and practices.
Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Assist in training other welders.
COMPETENCIES:
Strong math skills, visual inspection, and computer literate
Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently.
Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications, and verbal direction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 year welding certificate from college or technical school

Full-time Description
Summary: Performs basic grain elevator operations duties including: receiving grain, accurately weighing & grading and placing in proper bins; loads out grain according to contract specifications; maintains facility, equipment, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain, enter all required fields in scale computer, and place grain in proper bin.
Notify grain hedge desk of all grain purchases immediately.
Perform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain quality; record and report data.
Maintain the cleanliness of the facility (inside & outside) and rolling stock on a routine basis.
Perform yard maintenance including driveways, mowing, weed control, and snow removal.
Assist with routine equipment maintenance, inspections and repairs. This includes but is not limited to:
Constant observation and detection of abnormal equipment operation.
Monitor bearings and leg belt alignment.
Lubrication of bearings and gearboxes as necessary.
Inspection and adjustment of conveyor chain tension.
Ensure that mobile equipment is operational.
Identify grain and dust leaks and repair immediately. Notify supervisor if maintenance assistance is required.
Accurately blend and load out truck grain.
Maintain accurate documentation as required for housekeeping, maintenance, and safety.
Clean bin bottoms annually.
Operate grain dryer (if applicable)
Participate in the loading of trains.
Learn to operate the trackmobile and/or locomotive, the rail bulk scale and procedure for railcars.
Assist other grain locations or departments as necessary including helping with train loading and the agronomy department in the spring.
Accept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Grain Operations Supervisor, Grain Department Manager, or Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications:
