Operators manufacture components and products, ensuring that they meet customer specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Operate machinery and processes to produce products of the required quality, while following all safety protocols. • Assemble components and products to established specifications. • Test components and products to ensure that they meet all requirements. • Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standard. • Receive and store raw materials required for the production process. • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure that all environmental and health and safety regulations are complied with. • Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company rules. • Communicate any technical problems arising in the assembly of components and products. • Maintain all required records of components and products assembled and any problems encountered.
