Key Responsibilities: • Operate batch and continuous processing equipment, such as reactors, blenders, mixers, and filtration systems • Follow detailed batch instructions, production records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and additives • Monitor equipment parameters and adjust as needed to maintain optimal processing conditions • Ensure proper documentation of batch records, process deviations, and inventory transactions • Perform in-process testing and work closely with Quality Control to meet product specifications • Clean and sanitize equipment between production runs to avoid cross-contamination • Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards • Assist in troubleshooting equipment or process issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in chemical processing or manufacturing is a plus • 2+ years of experience in a chemical, flavor, or food manufacturing environment preferred • Ability to read and interpret batch sheets, safety data sheets (SDS), and technical instructions • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills (for data entry and documentation) • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically active environment • Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices and PPE usage • Forklift certification is a plus Schedule: [Specify schedule-e.g., Monday-Friday, 1st or 2nd shift with occasional overtime]
