parts/assemblies in aqueous and ultrasonic machines, assist painters with prep work, sand/shot blasting steel weldments
• Inspects parts as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and other measuring devices, to ensure conformity to specifications
• Inspects cutting tools for wear to ensure the quality of parts, reports worn tools to the supervisor or set up person, and makes adjustments during production run as required to maintain quality parts and to keep the machine running
• Maintains coolant levels to ensure a steady supply of coolant/cutting fluids to the machine
• Maintains workstation/cell in organized manner and in compliance with any applicable safety standards
• Receives and, when assigned, provides cross-training for other tasks related to department functions and procedures
• Performs minor preventive maintenance to equipment
• Performs other job-related duties as required by management
• Adheres to safety guidelines and the correct procedures for performing tasks to prevent personal injury or damage to product and/or equipment

Basic Qualifications
