This position works under the general supervision of a Lift Station Operator II, inspecting and repairing 81 wastewater lift stations. Keeps detailed records and submits electronic and paper reports. Performs manual and semi-skilled work in a safe manner, requiring knowledge of specialized facets of underground utility maintenance or construction work as well as related work such as electrical, SCADA troubleshooting, wet well cleaning, pump and motor inspection, including the operation and maintenance of wastewater transmission mains. This is an essential position; incumbent will be required to rotate "call duty" with an assigned operator II, and work extended hours during and after rain events, hurricanes or natural disasters and utility emergencies.
