Additional Requirements and Benefits
Employee shifts start and end at the local division office/shop. Transportation to and from the job site is provided.
We pride ourselves on our clean appearance on every job site! Laundered uniforms and personal protective equipment are provided and must be worn in accordance with the company policy.
Although it does not occur very often, projects may require out of town overnight stays. Per diem pay is offered when these projects occur.
We provide double time pay for weekend work.
Employees may be sent to other facility locations and operations to perform duties as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Instill Safety as a top priority.
* Provides on-site supervision and direction to crew members.
* Familiar with project specifications and ability to understand plans.
* Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
* Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly.
* Fill out daily foreman reports.
* Analyze and resolve issues that may arise.
* Ability to explain and understands survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, and GPS)
* Manage all excavating activities for your crew.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years as a foreman / supervisor in the Highway Heavy Civil Construction Industry
* Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
* Must be familiar with heavy equipment
* Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
* Must have a valid Driver's License.
* Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools.
* Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs.
* Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.
* Time management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial.
* Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Working Conditions
* Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
