Set distance points between rolls, guides, forming and sizing passages according to specifications. Adjust machine set-up gap/upset parameters, reshape pipe form and eliminate product defects. Set up, breakdown, and cluster passages according to these parameters. Train other workers to change rolls, operate mill equipment, and set ups during changeovers. Review, observe, and monitor for welding adjustments, welding parameters, and regulate speeds of machine(s). Determine setup specifications, work sequences, product dimensions and installation procedures. Ensure that ID/OD scarf equipment is working efficiently and is set up correctly. Change the tracking cut of saw blades. Take samples for process control, label properly, and ensure compliance. Perform visual inspections of machinery and equipment and report any issues to Supervisor and Engineer. Follow the production closely and intervene immediately regarding the issues caused by the stand box. Follow-up on work order sequence and production quantities.
