Job Summary:
Operates and monitors auxiliary equipment and systems which support the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound production of electricity.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Operate, inspect, and monitor in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner steam power plant equipment (i.e. Boiler / Furnace equipment, Turbine/Generator and its associated auxiliary equipment, Fuel Systems, Plant Auxiliary Systems includes valves, pumps, blowers, Environmental Control Process equipment, and Water Treatment Systems).
* Observe variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings to troubleshoot plant equipment to resolve operational problems.
* Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
* Works with apprentice operators and skill enhancement employees to teach proper operating procedures.
* Monitor and record data available through the use of various instruments, recording charts, annunciator systems and other monitoring devices onto shift logs as directed by plant operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Directional Drilling Locator position is a locator who will work with a driller to install conduit and cable underground using horizontal directional drilling equipment and locating devices. In addition, the Locator and the Driller will work together to install handholes, flowerpots, pedestals and row signs and cable as required. Overview of Role
The position reports directly to the Global Head of Operations of Clearlake Shipping, and is located in our Houston office. The operator will work closely with the Chartering department and Cargo Operations to provide day-to-day operational support for the shipping operation of Dirty Petroleum Products, Clean Petroleum Products and Bitumen for our time-chartered fleet.
Main Responsibilities
Manage pre-fixture and post-fixture of commercial operations on MR, LR1, LR2, Aframax, VLCC and Bitumen:
Handle all pre-fixture related matters to clear nominated vessels for respective voyage.
Voyage optimization & Performance Analysis:
Monitor vessel's daily movement and monitor weather routing.
Monitor vessel's speed and consumption and prepare claims against owner, if applicable.
Optimize tank-cleaning time to prepare tanks to load next potential cargo.
Maximum Utilization of cargo stowage plan with master and charterers.
Appointing port Agent, minimize port cost and ensure timely funding.
Receive LOI from charterer and prepare it in timely manner to head owners.
Non-commercial operations: Bunker planning and deslopping performed with best efficiency in time and cost.
Ensure the vessel's quick turnaround in port by liaising closely with Agent.
Ensure all shipping activities comply with international and local regulations, including safety, security, and environmental regulations.
Develop and implement shipping strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Timely appointment of armed guards for transiting HRA.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, shipping partners, and regulatory agencies.

Profit and loss management by daily updating of system to provide accurate P&L updates.

Acts as a reliable point of contact for routine internal and external inquiries on the desk. Work Duties

Monitor the loading instrumentation and equipment to collect information and ensure proper operation. Typical instrumentation and equipment would include but not be limited to gauges (temperature, pressure, flow), pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, vessels, and filters.
Perform adjustments on the DCS and in the field to maintain desired loading parameters. This would typically consist of but not be limited to changing controller set points or adjusting manual valves to maintain desired temperature, pressure, flow, level, and vacuum levels.
Operate heavy equipment such as a locomotive or trac-mobile that is associated with moving empty / full railcars to facilitate the loading activities.
Perform routine rounds through the intermediate tank farm, main tank farm, loading area, and rail spurs.
Record process information and operating activities on log sheets and in logbooks.
Collect samples as outlined in the sample plan or as requested. Make visual comparisons of samples to determine if they are of the proper color, temperature, viscosity, etc. Perform routine lab analysis on collected samples. This would typically include but not be limited to pH, conductivity, temperature, and color.

The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. In addition, the Loader Operator will be required to maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility. Furthermore, the Loader Operator will be responsible for the daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine. In addition, the operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe loader operation. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs. Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts. Operates company equipment safely. Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles. Records vehicle information accurately and legibly. Operates digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices. Sets up yard for auctions within company timelines. Provides service to customers as needed. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor. Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required. Must be able to pass training and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
* HS diploma or GED preferred.
* At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
* One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
* Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Positive attitude/High Integrity.
* Ability to operate heavy equipment.
* Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Occasional O.T. as needed.
* Bilingual skills a plus.
