Lay fabrics according to the marker info and established spreading guidelines. Process all spreads though the cutting machine and offload all cut parts in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Process markers following priorities set on your inbox.
Gather material from location or from material handler (in the case of material handler absence)
Measure and prepare the table for cutting
Lift rolls of material into cradle
Set up machine with lengths and number of layers
Follow all guidelines for equipment preventative maintenance
Follow all safety guidelines that have been set in place
Be able to identify good side vs bad side, material flaws, and different color shades of fabric
Partner with the cutting operator to set up spreads to the cutting machine
Be able to run the cutting equipment as outlined on the work instruction
Be able to scan markers into the computer and interpret the marker info
Offload cut parts from conveyor
Be able to perform PM as outlined in the software
Be able to multitask
Have a sense of urgency

The primary purpose of this position is to transload materials by using a Friction Crane, Forklift (Taylor Lift), Skid Steer, and other heavy equipment as necessary. This position will be operating in the field inside of barges, inside gondola cars, warehouses, and other locations as needed. CDL License is required.
Operates and Maintains - 200 Ton Updated P&H Overhead Crane, 140 Ton Manitowoc Friction Truck Crane and a 50 Ton Lima Friction Barge Crane or equal equipment, Front-end loader, Forklifts and Tractor Trailers. Plus must oversee general management of personnel, equipment and facility for normal terminal operations.
Safe, efficient operation of Friction Rig / Crane or any equipment involved at the terminal.
Maintains equipment by performing preventative maintenance i.e. lubricating, cleaning, adding gear lubricants, changing cables and document all activities performed daily.
Responsible for the crane adjustments-brakes, clutches, motors, and support equipment - Air and Hydraulic systems.
Check all fluids and air pressures.
This position assist the existing Crane Operator as needed and will also require operating forklifts, driving trucks and various equipment throughout the Port facility. Person will also be required to work on and around barges and the dock, as needed.
Inspect all moving parts, cables, boom, pendant lines, sheaves, and bucket.
Responsible for safety of barge, truck or rail cars and all crew members working in the area at all times, especially when vessel is in motion and when material is being removed from or loaded into the vessel.

Know the purpose and follow proper operation of all safety switches, interlocks and safety devices
Understand and properly operate all machine controls (mechanical, electrical and pneumatic)

Clear jams, re-sequence the palletizer, and replace fallen cartons

Essential Job Duties
Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is safe for work.
Operate equipment safely and courteously in work areas with pedestrians and other vehicle traffic. Equipment operated may include a wheel loader, car crusher, skid loader, backhoe, forklift, etc...
Check fluids each day equipment is used and lubricate equipment at recommended intervals. Communicate any findings and equipment hours to management.
Prioritize and plan workload to prevent delays to operations.
Use long and short auto salvage forks on the wheel loader to unload car haulers and stage upcoming cars for inventory, dismantling and cuts.
Use bucket to remove snow, spread stone and maintain grounds such as access roads, water drainage, vehicle holding areas and salvage yard.
Assist with regulation compliance and quality assurance of dismantled vehicles before unloading from bay and placing in the salvage yard.
Load dismantle bays with unprocessed cars. Process and crush vehicles that have reached their useful life and load onto scrap haulers for final disposal.
Assist with safety and regulation compliance for the facility in general. Maintain location accuracy and integrity of vehicles placed in the yard.
Perform tasks assigned by dispatch which may include: location checks, part checks, part pulls, etc. Communicate delays and problems promptly with management and affected coworkers.

Summary:
Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. This is a skilled position involving the operation of various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, Back Hoes, Track Hoes, Excavator, Maintainer, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
* Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
* Perform minor servicing and maintenance.
* Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield.
* Prepare equipment failure analysis as needed;
* Troubleshoots equipment problems and escalates the most complex problems to higher levels
* Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures
* Keep time and material records.
* Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations.
* May assist Laborer at various job sites as needed. May perform physical tasks involved with laying pipe and utility lines, and/or tasks involved with road construction and laying asphalt, etc.

Required Education:
* High school diploma or GED
Requirements:
* 1-3 years direct equipment operating experience required and 1 year of pipeline, construction or related industry experience preferred.
* Valid driver's license required, CDL license preferred
* Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
* Availability for overnight travel to various job sites is required

* Working in a crouching position several times per day for up to an hour at a time.

* Bending and twisting for up to 30 minutes at a time, including manually digging with shovels.
* Standing in one place for up to an hour at a time.
* Sitting for up to two hours at a time.
* Ability to wear all appropriate personal protection equipment, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, flame-resistant clothing, hearing protection, respirator/breathing apparatus, and/or fall protection, as required by the job activities.
* Ability to use or operate the hand tools, power tools, precision tools, measurement devices and other tools or equipment required by the job activities.

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to work at our Levy Big River Mill Services location in Osceola, AR.
The Heavy Equipment Operators perform all functions as it pertains to operating heavy off-road mobile equipment. We are looking for Haul Truck Operators, Material Handler Operators, Roll-Off Drivers, and Front-End Loader Operators.
Pay: $20/hr - $28/hr; $2/hr shift differential when on nights Shift: 4-on / 4-off Rotating Day Shift to Night Shift weekly.

Responsibilities The Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator will:
Operate various heavy mobile equipment such as: Water Trucks, 988K Front End Loaders, Excavators, 777 Haul Trucks, D8/9 Dozers, Pot Haulers, & Sennebogen Cranes
Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping
Load materials in designated areas
Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions & report to the maintenance department
Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling
Meet customer service expectations
Skills The ideal candidate will have:
Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment
A team and safety oriented mentality
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Basic Mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of bulk materials
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent
