Position Summary:
Driving a tractor-trailer between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering general freight.
• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while transporting freight between terminals.
• Load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance of dockworkers. Mechanic freight handling equipment may be used where available and appropriate.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight.
• Securing of freight may be required through strapping or other methods.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Drive tractor-trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations, normally in periods of driving within hours of service limitations, followed by an off-duty period as required by regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• A minimum age of 23.
• A minimum of 1 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• All drivers must pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• All drivers must possess, or obtain within the required time period, and maintain Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements on their current valid driver's license issued by the resident state in which they reside.
• All drivers are to possess only one valid driver's license (CDL) issued by the resident state of the driver. Operators who have recently transferred from another state must produce a copy of the former license or provide license information for verification from that state. Drivers will need to provide information on all licenses held within the previous 36 months.
• No record of citation or conviction of any DUI / OWI or Reckless Driving within the previous 5 years.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen. Dohrn Transfer must receive a negative result.
• Dohrn Transfer must receive a negative controlled substances and alcohol result from prior employer(s) for the past three-year period. No prior evidence of controlled substance use.
• There must be no instance of refusal to submit to an alcohol or controlled substance test within the past three-year period, including pre-employment testing.

A driver in the PreFlight Airport Parking market is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customers to and from an off-airport parking facility/lot and the airport terminals. This position reports to the Shift or General Manager of the off-airport parking operation.
Pay Rate: $16.45/hour
Essential Responsibilities
Transports customers by shuttle bus to and from the off-airport parking facility to the airport terminals.
Greets passengers at parking facility/lot and helps with baggage loading and unloading.
Provides optimal service in greeting customers, explaining the shuttle services that are provided, and responding to customer needs in a professional and courteous manner (ex. Providing directions/route information, helping people with disabilities).
Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system (according to facility guidelines) to communicate routes, announcing arrivals, coordinating the pick-up of customers, calling delays, requesting emergency maintenance/repairs or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions (ex. Checking lights, tires, mirrors, fuel and oil levels, body damage, etc.)
Immediately reports any delays, accidents, hazards, maintenance requirements, vehicle deficiencies or any other unusual occurrences to the supervisor.
Remain vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening and inform management immediately.
Monitor work area and property for safety and security.
Reports any accidents, hazards or maintenance requirements, and the presence of any suspicious individuals or activities immediately to a manager.
Recognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner.
Participate in all safety and security trainings within the market.
Cleans and washes buses at the end of each shift.
When directed, may be required to perform cashier duties or light vehicle maintenance duties such as cleaning windows inside of bus, emptying waste containers, and sweeping the bus.

Full-time Description
Since 1928 Pleasant View Dairy (PVD) has been a local producer of high quality dairy products such as fresh milk, sour cream, butter, and other dairy products. PVD plant is located in Highland Indiana and is responsible for providing multiple school districts supplies of milk along with local grocery stores.
Primary Job Responsibilities: Perform local driving duties to and from customer locations, including unloading products at the stores. Routine pickups may also be required as determined by dispatch. The candidate would be home 4-5 nights per week.
Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the truck's condition to your Supervisor for further repair as needed.
Check the radiator and washer fluid to maintain the tractor-trailer.
Inspect the load and ensure that the load is locked in and secured with load locks and straps.
Must be able to maneuver the truck into loading and unloading position as needed.
Must be able to unload the truck for customer delivery.
Must be able to break down load, and deliver to each department as required by store.
Obtain the customer's signature, and any other document required (i.e. DSD)
Maintain accurate records of products carried, delivered, and returned, (empty racks, pallets, or damaged goods) and related cash, checks, and money orders.

Works well in a team environment including being able to work with a diverse group of people from all aspects.
Works well with a minimal amount of supervision and is a productive member of his/her department by adhering to the company policies.
Specific Experience/Training
Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times.
