As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in efficiently and safely moving materials, products, and inventory throughout our warehouse facility, using Raymond brand forklifts. Job Details Operate Raymond sit-down forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products in a busy warehouse environment. Safely transport goods to designated storage areas, ensuring accurate placement and proper stacking to maximize space utilization. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, containers, and trailers, adhering to established loading procedures. Perform routine pre-operational checks and maintenance on Raymond forklifts to ensure proper functioning, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor. Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment and inventory. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including aisles, storage locations, and loading docks. Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill orders, complete inventory counts, and support overall warehouse operations. Assist in the labeling, tagging, and identification of materials and products as required. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks, prioritize work, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
