Manage the onboarding process for new field hires, ensuring they understand company policies, job expectations, and safety requirements. Conduct orientation sessions in both English and Spanish, covering safety protocols, equipment handling, and company policies specific to field roles. Employee Relations & Support Serve as the primary HR contact for field employees, addressing concerns, answering questions, and escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary. Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring they feel supported and informed. Support field employees with paperwork related to time-off requests, and time sheet corrections. Promote a positive work environment by organizing events, incentives, and recognition programs tailored for field staff. Confidentiality & Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information, including personal details, performance records, and disciplinary actions. Ensure field staff are compliant with safety regulations and company standards, conducting regular audits of employee records for certifications, training, and licensure as applicable. Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, especially those related to working conditions, breaks, and overtime for field workers. Safety & Training Coordinate safety training sessions for field staff, covering areas such as equipment use, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures. Conduct regular follow-ups with field supervisors to ensure ongoing safety compliance and identify any additional training needs. Maintain records of completed training and certifications for each field employee. Qualifications: E xperience : 2+ years in HR or recruitment, preferably with experience supporting field or labor-intensive roles in industries like landscaping, construction, or maintenance. Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce. Knowledge: Knowledge of HR basics. Knowledge of HR software and time-tracking systems (e.g., ADP, ExakTime). Understanding of labor laws and compliance, especially related to field-based work environments. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to confidentiality in handling employee information. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites. Project site visits may be either indoors or outdoors in areas that are dusty, dirty, in the rain and muddy.
