Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Traveler) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to join our team as a traveler and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions across various healthcare facilities. In this role, you'll work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation: Gather patient medical histories, answer patient questions, assess vital signs, and prepare patients for procedures.
Equipment Operation: Set up, calibrate, and maintain specialized equipment, including x-ray machines, EKG monitors, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and ultrasound devices.
Procedure Assistance: Support physicians during procedures by passing instruments, manipulating catheters and guidewires, and operating angiographic equipment.
Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs, comfort levels, and cardiac rhythms during procedures, promptly recognizing and addressing cardiac arrhythmias.
Patient Care & Emergency Response: Assist during adverse reactions or emergencies, participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR, and provide post-procedure care before patient transfer.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records for each procedure, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong technical skills in operating and troubleshooting complex equipment.
Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in high-stress situations, using critical thinking to address challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork and compassionate patient interaction.

The Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) conducts routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology for use in patient diagnosis and treatment of disease. What you will do in this role:
You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
You will produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and other areas as designated.
You will maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor degree in laboratory science or related science required OR Grandfathered as a medical technologist by CLIA 88
MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA), MLS (ASCP) or, as appropriate, BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I (ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP) certification or equivalent required OR registry/certification eligible. Registry/certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities
* The EVS Supervisor will help operate the shift. The Supervisor will pass out keys and pagers answer an ascom phone, delegate work orders, pass out work assignments, monitor the bed board system.
* The EVS supervisor is a working supervisor and will complete work in assigned work areas.
* Required to handle hazardous waste, general waste and soiled linens to transport throughout the hospital facility to collection site for contractual removal.
* The EVS supervisor will have direct reports
* The EVS supervisor will complete room inspections and patient interviews
Qualifications
* Associate's Degree and 1-2 years experience Healthcare experience preferred or
* HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience or
* Other 7 or more years experience At least 7 years experience in Environmental Services.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.40/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
