Position Purpose
: The A-Fib Program Coordinator provides coordination of care for A-Fib patients within the ambulatory clinical setting. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the ablation pathway, referral pathway, and education pathway for patients with atrial fibrillation. This position performs responsibilities by anticipating and proactively meeting the atrial fibrillation patient needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organization of patient education packets, development and maintenance of patient tracking for follow-up appointments, maintenance of A-Fib registry documentation data, ordering testing based on provider orders, mitigating the need for A-Fib patient visits to the Emergency Department and/or hospitalization, and marketing A-Fib program to patients and other providers. Coordinate and organize patient education (written and verbal) based on individualized patient plans of care and health history
Acts as a liaison between physicians and marketing department to improve methods to reach potential patents and other physicians
Implements continuous quality improvement efforts as identified through patient outcomes, including referral pathways for patient to the AFib Center
Maintains compliance with AFib data registry standards
Triage patient phone calls and schedules patients for problem office visits same day to avoid Emergency Department visits for the patient
Takes responsibility to facilitate improvements in patient services, staff/physician relationships, and the working climate
Education & Qualifications* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred Licensure* Registered Nurse in the State of Florida* Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of cardiology experience preferred (critical care, cardiology office, cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or related experience).
Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and teaching abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Marine Interdiction Agent, you will perform marine-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties may include:
Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.
Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.
Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
Qualifications
This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential. See the U.S. Coast Guard Issued Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC) section that is listed below for qualifying capacities.
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.
Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.
Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.
Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.
Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.
Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.
OR GS-11 Education Substitution for experience: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.

Locality pay varies by duty location. A fully trained CBP Officer is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.

About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, organized and proactive Biomedical Technician II to become part of their Biomedical Engineering Department. This role is required to be on site at a healthcare facility located in the Hialeah, FL. and/or Fort Lauderdale, FL areas. We are currently looking for two(2) Biomedical Technicians II to support these areas. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform diagnostics, install, inspect, maintain, repair, and calibrate ALL available types of medical devices/equipment (basic-to-complex) to adhere to medical standard guidelines. This includes knowledge of how to properly operate related testers and tools.
Makes periodic rounds of assigned clinical areas to assess the operation of medical devices and systems.
Requisition service and spare parts for corrective or preventive maintenance work or stock replenishment.
Ensure all medical devices/equipment services are completed following hazards, safety and infection control, electrical safety, codes, standards, and regulations, as stated by regulatory agencies.
Comply with preventive maintenance workload monthly.
Use of a computerized maintenance management system to document inspections, repairs, maintenance procedures, etc., and to generate the appropriate key metrics reporting for end users and auditors.

Attends and satisfactorily completes training courses on medical devices or systems. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new medical technologies, related clinical procedures and healthcare regulations.

Minimum experience of five years providing technical customer services related to the biomedical equipment field.
Must have a valid driver's license and passport.
Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as JCAHO, NFPA, ASSE, state regulations, CMS, etc.
Experience or general knowledge of therapeutic equipment (pumps, ventilators, defibrillators, other), diagnostics equipment (e.g. endoscopes), patient monitoring systems (physiologic monitors, electrocardiographs, pulse oximeters, etc.), laboratory (centrifuges, incubators, analyzers, etc.), surgical (electrosurgical units, microscopes, etc.), sterilization (autoclaves, washers, etc.) and patient support (patient beds, stretchers, lifts).
