Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Description
Under supervision of an Assistant Division Forest Fire warden or other supervisor in the Department of Environmental Protection, in a fire tower, is responsible for detecting, locating, and reporting forest fires to protect life and property from wildfire; when required, performs forest fire suppression, pre-suppression, and prevention; performs maintenance work; does related work as required.
Specific to Position
Forest Fire Observers are expected to detect and report wildfires, dispatch initial attack fire resources, monitor fire behavior and act as a safety lookout for fire resources, observe and record weather conditions, and help maintain the fire tower and tower grounds. During periods of low fire danger, assist with other duties such as office coverage, construction and maintenance of fire equipment, public outreach and prescribed burning.
Preferred Skillsets

License

Job Description
The Campus Safety Officer position operates under the direction and supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Campus Safety. As a per diem role, officers are called in as needed to backfill full-time positions, provide event coverage, or offer additional support to the department. While on shift, officers report directly to the Lead Supervisor or assigned Supervisor.
As an essential employee, officers are required to remain on duty or report to work during partial or full-day site closures due to hazardous conditions, emergencies, or inclement weather.
The primary responsibility of the Officer is to maintain a safe and secure campus environment through regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. Officers enforce university policies and local laws, control facility access, and assist students and staff with safety and security concerns. Job Duties
Conduct routine patrols of university buildings and campus grounds.

Assist ADAs in Extradition Proceedings/Process Fugitive (FOA) matters.
Handle Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests, inter-agency document requests and document requests pursuant to subpoenas and court orders.
