Deputy COS
Officer Job 227 miles from Kerrville
CAZ was founded in 2001 with the backing of some of the most respected and successful families in the state of Texas. Since our inception, we have focused our efforts on finding excellent opportunities to invest our personal money and then providing the ability for our global network of investors to co-invest with us. We exist to provide Exclusive Access to Unique Alternatives.
We recently grew our ownership consortium to include several veterans in financial services as well as the world's leading life and business strategist, Tony Robbins. Robbins was thrice named to the WORTH 100 most influential people in the world of global finance. His first two financial books, Money: Master the Game and Unshakeable, were both #1 New York Times Bestsellers. Robbin's latest book, The Holy Grail of Investing, co-authored with our Chairman and CIO, Christopher Zook, recently became a #1 New York Times Bestseller as well. Robbins' private financial events often feature speakers like Paul Tudor Jones, Ray Dalio, Jeff Gundlach, Hank Paulson, Alan Greenspan, and others.
We are quite different than the vast majority of other investment management companies in multiple ways. First, we always invest our personal capital alongside our Partners. We have more than $650mm of our personal capital committed to our investment vehicles. We provide access to our Partners to co-invest with us in these vehicles, which we believe provide the best opportunities for our families' and our Shareholders money. Second, because of the scale of our investments, we have access to opportunities that would otherwise not be available to investors with less than $250mm - $500mm of investable assets. Quite simply, there are many investments we can provide for our Partners they could never access on their own. Third, and what we believe is the most unique feature of our Firm, almost all of our compensation is earned only if an investor makes money. In many cases, if our Partners do not make money, we don't get paid. This ultimate alignment of interests is why we focus on finding the absolute best risk/reward opportunities available.

Once fully ramped, successful Analysts will complete up to 200+ cold calls and emails per week, engage with 20+ businesses, and hold 5+ qualified introductory conversations with business owners each week.
Lead Management & Conversion: Manage all stages of outreach engagement, including responding to inbound interest, conducting initial qualification, and coordinating seamless handoffs to investment professionals.
Relationship Building: Serve as the first point of contact with business owners. Communicate Storr's value proposition clearly and professionally, and build rapport that facilitates productive introductory meetings
Collaboration with Investment Professionals: Partner closely with the investment team to prioritize outreach efforts and share insights from conversations. The Analyst plays a key role in driving consistent, top-of-funnel activity that fuels the deal pipeline.
Contact and Company Research (as needed): Occasionally support outreach-related research to help identify key decision-makers or relevant business details that improve targeting and engagement.
Industry Familiarity: Develop a working knowledge of Storr's target sectors in order to engage in informed conversations and represent the firm credibly in early-stage interactions.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in outbound sales, recruiting, business development, or other high-volume outreach roles. Professionals from industries such as insurance, financial services, or business services are encouraged to apply.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage persuasively and professionally with senior executives and business owners.
Personality & Mindset: Energetic, solutions-oriented, and highly self-motivated. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, and persistent - with a strong ability to overcome obstacles, handle rejection professionally, and maintain a positive attitude.
Professionalism: Strong executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Team Orientation: Willingness to collaborate with a high-performing team and contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven culture. Storr values humility, hustle, and excellence.
Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM experience is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree required (open to all majors); a basic understanding of business concepts and industry dynamics is beneficial.
Location
This role will be based in Austin, TX.
Compensation
Base salary plus commission, offering a high-potential career path for entrepreneurial-minded professionals.
