General Statement of Duties
Performs general duty police work in assigned area of Sheriff's office enforcing state and local laws and ordinances; performs related work as required.

Works non-traditional hours; shifts are staffed 24/7 and must be available weekends and holidays;
May be on call after regular duty hours to respond to emergency situations;

Acceptable Experience and Training
High school diploma or GED equivalency required and some college courses in criminal justice preferred;
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Special Qualifications
Idaho driver's license;
Idaho POST certification within one year of hire;
Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a polygraph examination, through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Patrol Division personnel work 10-hour-and-40-minute shifts in a 28-day work cycle, during which officers work five days and have four days off. Officers have five days off every third rotation. This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). * Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.

To qualify for the SV-D pay band (equivalent to the GS-5/6), you must meet one of the qualification requirements (A OR B) outlined below:
A. Experience: At least one year of full-time work experience in the security Industry, aviation screening, or as an X-ray technician.

B. Education: Have a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) high school equivalency certificate.
Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. TSO Dress and Appearance Responsibilities: TSOs must adhere to the current TSA dress and appearance requirements. For example, with the exception of half-inch diameter stud-style earrings, non-protruding ear gauges or spacers that match your skin and do not exceed one half-inch diameter, inconspicuous nose or tongue piercings that match your skin or tongue, body piercings may not be visible to the public. These requirements dictate if you have a tattoo that would be visible beyond the standard TSO uniform in areas such as the head and face including a partial tattoo that extends more than one inch beyond the upper neck or behind the ear, it could potentially render you ineligible for the position unless it was able to be covered at all times and not visible to the general public. Additionally, tattoos that are indecent, commonly associated with gangs, extremists, and/or supremacist organizations or that advocate sexual, racial, or religious discrimination, or have a negative impact on TSA's ability to carry out its mission must be covered at all times.
Work Schedules for Full-time Positions: Specific work shifts and schedules will be determined by the airport.
* Full-time positions require 40 hours per week;
* Full-time work consists of shift-work on any day from Sunday through Saturday, which may include irregular hours, nights, holidays, overtime, extended shifts and weekend shifts, changing shifts, and split shifts.
* A "split-shift" consists of any two work shifts, each lasting at least two (2) hours in one 24-hour period, with at least two (2) hours between work shifts.
Work Schedules for Part-time Positions: Specific work shifts and schedules will be determined by the airport.

* Passing background investigations, including a criminal check and credit check, and all randomly administered drug and alcohol screening tests.
No moving, relocation or pre-employment travel expenses will be paid for this position, or while in application for this position. This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. * Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.

Qualifications
To qualify for the SV-D pay band (equivalent to the GS-5/6), you must meet one of the qualification requirements (A OR B) outlined below:
A. Experience: At least one year of full-time work experience in the security Industry, aviation screening, or as an X-ray technician.
OR
B. Education: Have a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) high school equivalency certificate.
Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. TSO Dress and Appearance Responsibilities: TSOs must adhere to the current TSA dress and appearance requirements. For example, with the exception of half-inch diameter stud-style earrings, non-protruding ear gauges or spacers that match your skin and do not exceed one half-inch diameter, inconspicuous nose or tongue piercings that match your skin or tongue, body piercings may not be visible to the public. These requirements dictate if you have a tattoo that would be visible beyond the standard TSO uniform in areas such as the head and face including a partial tattoo that extends more than one inch beyond the upper neck or behind the ear, it could potentially render you ineligible for the position unless it was able to be covered at all times and not visible to the general public. Additionally, tattoos that are indecent, commonly associated with gangs, extremists, and/or supremacist organizations or that advocate sexual, racial, or religious discrimination, or have a negative impact on TSA's ability to carry out its mission must be covered at all times.
Work Schedules for Full-time Positions: Specific work shifts and schedules will be determined by the airport.
* Full-time positions require 40 hours per week;
* Full-time work consists of shift-work on any day from Sunday through Saturday, which may include irregular hours, nights, holidays, overtime, extended shifts and weekend shifts, changing shifts, and split shifts.
* A "split-shift" consists of any two work shifts, each lasting at least two (2) hours in one 24-hour period, with at least two (2) hours between work shifts.

* Passing background investigations, including a criminal check and credit check, and all randomly administered drug and alcohol screening tests.
No moving, relocation or pre-employment travel expenses will be paid for this position, or while in application for this position. This position is not a law enforcement position and therefore, is not covered by Law Enforcement Availability Pay or Law Enforcement Retirement. Rotating Saturdays 8:40am - 2:15pm

Member Focus
Builds and maintains relationships with Mountain America Credit Union Members by engaging in conversations in person and over the phone
Provides quality service to credit union membership by assessing member needs, advising to meet their needs, and assisting in those transactions, which could include opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and explaining our products and services that best suit our member's needs .
Recognizes member needs, educates on options for managing financial transactions through MACU tools, resources, technology and cross-sells products and services as needs arise through a consultation approach .
Fulfills member requests for products and services while looking for ways to grow member relationships and accomplish credit union objectives.
Resolves problems by clarifying member complaints, determining the cause of the problem, providing the best solution to resolve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
Follows up with member interactions with thank you notes and phone calls using the MACU (222) approach
Loan Servicing
Prepares and disburses loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines
Originates loans by accepting and reviewing loan applications, interviewing loan applicants, reviewing credit report and cross-sells loans.
Prepares loan documentation, initiates credit reports and conducts closings for home equity, personal, and auto loans
Complies with all regulations as required by law, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, Regulation CC (funds availability), Regulation DD (TIS) and other regulations as required by law as it relates to his/her position
Cash Transactions
Accurately maintains cash drawer.
Accurately and efficiently processes transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures
Assists in the opening and closing procedures of the branch
Responsible for Branch Security which includes vault combinations, security codes, and member information
Handles all transactions with accuracy and courtesy, while maintain privacy and security.
Other Responsibilities
While in this position, will travel within regional area (up to 15 miles), to provide assistance to different branches and receive training and feedback from different branch leaders.
Requires occasional travel to other branches
Acts as a liaison to Business Services Reaches out to the community through outbound phone calls and by attending SEG events
Performs Teller duties as needed
Represents the credit union in a professional manner, both in dress and in actions
Keeps work area neat and clean
Responds to email/voicemail/missed calls/other communication in a timely manner
Actively participates and completes product knowledge courses
Complies with all regulations as required by law
Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
At least one year of retail banking or related sales and customer service experience preferred.
Ability to satisfy immediate and unexpected needs, by recommending credit union products and services with knowledge and confidence.
Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while handling all member activities and requests
Ability to prepare loan documents and cross-sell financial services of the credit union to ensure quality service.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication
Bilingual: English/Spanish
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Trainings
To be completed during the first 90 days:
Valid Driver's license required.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Basic computer operating skills
Beginner to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Type a minimum of 35 words per minute preferred
Symitar experience preferred
