Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Our Uniformed Division's mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through individuals who embody honor, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C. Requirements

Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.

*MAJOR DUTIES *
* Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
* Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
* Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
* Maintain a level of physical fitness to ensure the readiness required to perform law enforcement duties.

* Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.

What will you do?
Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commission
Adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
Report any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activity
Fill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shifts
Process guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with care
More about you
No high school diploma or GED required
Security guard, state certified preferred
Able to be licensed by state gaming commission
Highly motivated and takes initiative
Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with others
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, stooping, lifting, reaching, and pushing, with strong manual dexterity and the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. You may also occasionally required to sit for periods of time
Visual awareness, sufficient to identify potential security violations
Hearing ability sufficient to respond to the spoken voice, audible alarms and two-way radios
