From point of admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. This includes, but not limited to, patient hygiene, mobility, hydration, and helping meet dietary/nutritional needs.
Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rates, and blood glucose.
Perform CHG bath as directed.
Participates in handoff report and purposeful hourly rounds of patients.
Provide direct observation of patients as directed by the nursing plan of care and under the supervision of the nursing staff and nursing supervisor.
Assist nursing staff in creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment.
Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress, condition, and/or any equipment malfunction.
Adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the healthcare facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
Attend required healthcare facility training and orientation programs including completing a Crisis Prevention and Intervention Certification.
