Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE A master's degree program in Nurse Practitioner or related from an accredited institution. Nurse Practitioner Certification through a recognized body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). A Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License A National Provider Identifier (NPI) Number A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate One year of experience in Pain Management SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Ability to initiate preventative discussion pertaining to Pain Management. Able to perform Trigger Point Injections (TPI), Joint & Bursa Injections, Occipital Nerve Blocks, Suprascapular and Botox (Migraine) Injections Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Ability to provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Proficiency in conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, and performing medical procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to diagnose and treat patients effectively. Efficient time management skills to handle a busy and varied caseload. Effective problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs and healthcare challenges. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
