Attend regularly scheduled speech therapy meetings. 7. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required. 8. Administer routine tests as directed by supervisor when the licensed supervisor has assured proper training and administration of such tests. 9. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules and State Board of Examiners Licensing Board for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. 10. Assist in the selection of materials, equipment, and other instructional material. 11. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students. 12. Establish control and administer discipline according to board policies and administrative regulations. 13. Submit schedules or reports as requested including Medicaid and inventory reporting 14. Maintain current knowledge of TEKS and assist with campus staff development as requested. 15. Conduct duties within required timelines. 16. Ability to travel to multiple work locations as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical Demands/Environment Factors: REMOTE LEARNING Create a virtual classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Be available by phone, email, or video conferencing during indicated work hours (confirm expected work hours with campus administration) to confer with district personnel, students, and/or parents. The rest of the workday is committed to planning, preparing, implementing, and evaluating lessons and activities. EVALUATION: All employee performance will be evaluated at least annually in accordance with Board Policy. Classroom instruction will be evaluated using the statewide evaluation. Evaluation is designed to improve the quality of instruction and employee performance which may affect employment recommendations. Each employee will sign receipt of the Job Description/Evaluation form at the beginning of each year. At the time of the annual evaluation review, the employee will sign for receipt of a copy of the evaluation.
