Assists with supporting local emergency operations centers (EOCs) or Disaster District Emergency Operations Center (DDEOCs) during planned and unplanned events. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Reports to assigned District Chief. Position is assigned a fleet vehicle. Extended hours may occur on occasion. May serve as a support member of the state staff at the Joint Field Office or may be deployed to assist at other incident facilities. Face-to-face and person-to-person interactions are required.
