Job Summary
The Bilingual Technical Support Specialist (Spanish) plays a critical role in the customer life cycle and is responsible for timely responses and resolutions to technical product questions and issues. Bilingual Technical Support Specialists initiate the troubleshooting process and determine the quickest path to resolution. Responsibilities
Assist customers by answering questions via ticketing system, email, and phone.
Resolve customer tickets through troubleshooting over remote screen-share meetings.
Reproduce customer issues, detail the corresponding steps, and communicate findings that help Development and Cloud teams to quickly resolve escalations.
Own being the technical liaison between customers and Development and Cloud teams.
Keep outstanding customer tickets updated and organized.
Develop a level of technical and functional SME in assigned products to effectively resolve skill and technical issues.
Assist with internal projects as needed, ie. Creating technical documentation, coordinating maintenance windows, supporting audit efforts, etc...
Coordinate and manage customer upgrades to new versions of Prometheus Group software.
Manage custom development work and SOWs.

Compensation Disclosure

As the Tier-2 next level escalation, this engineer will take on the most complex customer problems that no one else has been able to resolve. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Troubleshoot escalated issues with external customers and network/telecom providers.

* Serve as the escalation point for network issues escalated by Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
* Join major event/incident calls, use technical and analytical skills to resolve network issues that impact RapidScale Network Managed customer services
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 RapidScale Managed Network NOC personnel.
* Lead resolution of sensitive Diamond and Platinum customer escalations escalated to MNO leadership
* Accept call overflows for frontline NOC support team during major outages
* Assist with the development of policies and procedures for maintaining network infrastructure
* Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation, including customer service network topology documents, run books, detailing the deployment of various solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience; or 9 years' experience in a related field

* Experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue
* Solve complex technical problems with little supervision and escalate when appropriate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, deploying and managing cloud-based network solutions, with a strong background in network configuration and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:1. Design, implement, and manage the network infrastructure in our cloud environments using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).2. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in the cloud environments.3. Develop and maintain network configuration and troubleshooting scripts using Python.4. Work closely with the development and operations teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives.5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members.
Qualifications:1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud-based environments.2. Proven experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Python scripting.3. Strong knowledge of network configuration, troubleshooting, and security in cloud environments.4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.6. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer) are a plus.
