    Neil Kelly is seeking a charismatic, motivated salesperson to join our Handyman Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting with homeowners, assessing their needs and coming up with creative solutions. An ideal candidate will have broad knowledge about residential construction, remodeling and repair. In 1947, Neil B. What your day will look like: A typical day will include meeting with homeowners to discuss their remodeling and/or repair needs, assessing their budget, estimating costs and presenting project proposals to clients. Once a client has signed on, you will coordinate with our in-house Project Managers to complete the work. You will also be: Estimating, presenting and selling the project Creating specifications, cost sheets, selections, rescission papers, notice of right to lien and sketches or plans if needed (Drafting support services are available.) Coordinating a timely billing process with the office staff and collecting payments from clients Assisting clients in obtaining financing if needed What you bring: A combination of education and/or experience in residential repair, remodeling, building codes, estimating, and work scope writing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Skill in presenting ideas, problem-solving and recommendations solutions Time management skills Confidence and ability to think on your feet Customer service and client interaction skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to negotiate a variety of job-site physical conditions, uneven surfaces, stairs, ladders. Some climbing, stooping, crawling and reaching is required. What we offer: The chance to be part of one of the largest remodelers in the country. Compensation includes a base salary of $4000/month, plus commission and benefits. You will receive an additional training salary of $2000/month for the first three months of employment.
