Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

Position Summary:

The MS Tele RN recognizes and responds to signs of patient deterioration or emergency situations such as cardiac arrest, participating in rapid response or code blue events, and performing life-saving interventions such as CPR or defibrillation when necessary. Qualifications:

Who you are:
The Sourcing Specialist I will be responsible for executing against a sourcing strategy for perioperative products, all across a range of different types of contracts. They will engage in daily sourcing activities including drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting the monitoring of contract performance, contributing to the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, developing, evaluating and managing vendor relationships and implementing contracts with end users. This position will also be responsible for conducting benchmarking activities, reviewing industry best practices, analyzing corporate spend and collaborating in cross-functional teams to achieve cost savings, increase quality, and build and maintain a competitive portfolio of pricing for capital equipment, clinical products, non-clinical items, and purchased services.
What you'll do:
The Sourcing Specialist I will collaborate with the Divisions of Analytics and Value Analysis within the JHHS Supply Chain Department. Area specific responsibilities may include reviewing buy vs. lease analysis and conducting total cost of ownership reviews (e.g., cost of consumables and service agreements should be reviewed in the capital purchase process). This position will maintain a thorough knowledge of all product and service needs and industry developments in assigned categories, including their clinical applications. This position will be responsible for drafting contracts and providing guidance and training in coordination with JHHS Supply Chain Department Contract Managers and the JHHS Legal Department. The process of sourcing clinical products, non-clinical items and purchased services, and capital equipment and related services will align with the vision for the future of Supply Chain, “sourcing the best quality products at the best price, treating customers with service orientation and focusing on supply chain excellence internally.”
What you'll bring:
At least 3 years of work experience or residency/externship experience in Supply Chain or healthcare related field. OR applicants with a Master's degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) must have 1 years of work experience in Supply Chain or healthcare related field
Demonstrated ability to execute, against a sourcing strategy for clinical products, or assigned non-clinical items and purchased services in line with JHHS Supply Chain's strategic vision
Negotiation and management skills for both Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and contracts negotiated directly with vendors, as well as managing an RFP process
Basic knowledge of legal and contract language, knowledge of clinical categories as well as knowledge of contract negotiation techniques.
Advanced critical thinking analytical skills to enable sourcing/contracting decisions for capital equipment, clinical products, or assigned non-clinical items and purchased services, through data (e.g., by referencing benchmarking, industry/market analysis, buy vs. lease analysis, total cost of ownership reviews and spend analysis)
Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Public Health, Hospital Administration or related business/finance areas. Master's Degree preferred.

The operations include handling of over 57 million images or approximately 17,600 boxes, updating required tracking systems for tracking and preparing the material for scanning and return shipment tot he customer. The operation will include management of incoming and outbound deliveries, operations, and warehouse management/utilization. This position will require close and frequent communication with the leadership, customers, and other stakeholders as customer expectations may frequently change.
Position Responsibilities:
Works closely with teaming partners for coordination of production, quality and staffing
Ensures all requirements are being met, including the turnaround time requirement from when a shipments received at our facility until it is digitized
Coordinates with the personnel to ensure all service level agreement are met
Create reports and metrics on productivity and quality
Consistently look for efficiencies to increase productivity
Coordinates with team leads on attendance, productivity goals and quality metrics
Supports the team members and plays a key role in creating the overall positive work environment
Plays a vital role in maximizing the output of the various production teams
Ensures that standard procedures are followed, and corrections applied as necessary
Ensure that the necessary administrative and legal formalities are completed as directed by leadership
Works with third party partners as needed
Willing to work various hours or shifts as needed and sets the example with their own compliance with rules, attendance, flexibility, and attitude
Ensures program documentation on information security policies and procedures are being implemented and followed
Oversees System Administrator on daily, weekly, monthly activities
Develops and support training plans for new employees
Communicates with customer and key stakeholders on operations requirements
Ensures partners, customers, leadership and key stakeholders are kept informed of program developments
Ensure required reports are delivered to stakeholder on a timely manner
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience as an Operations Manager or related management experience
2 years' experience with supervising 20+ staff or related management experience
Must have active IRS clearance
Identification of resources, reporting, quality control, and supervision
Strong verbal and written communication
Strong Excel background preferred but not required

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs special diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology areas, including interventional angiographic procedures, interventional diagnostic procedures, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all equipment components, including patient monitoring devices
Serves as resource to departmental leadership to identify training and educational needs of staff.
Provides clinical leadership and knowledge, assist in evaluation and training of new staff or new skill requirement.
Supports department flow and efficiency, assist with staff assignments and coverage for meal breaks.
POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Department Director or Service Coordinator. May receive direction from Interventional Radiologist or Cardiologist.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain licensure.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current ARRT, Maryland licensure as Radiologic Tech or RCIS or RCES certification.
BCLS certification
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum one year of interventional radiology or cardiology experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
Requires ability to communicate via documentation, telephone, computer and directly.
Requires knowledge or specialized equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Patient-care areas; requires standing for long periods; the noise level is usually moderate with exposure to drills and saws; work pace is generally steady with occasional hectic periods due to patient census, status or emergencies. Subject to shift rotation and on-call. Subject to exposure to blood-borne pathogens, formaldehyde, latex, dust, fumes, odors, mists, gasses, biological, mechanical, electrical, chemical and other hazardous materials. Incumbent may be exposed to moving machinery. The incumbent is expected to adhere to the Hospital's Drug and Smoke Free work environment and to adhere to OSHA mandates and precautionary measures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, reach, sit, bend, push/pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, lift, balance and perform repetitive movements. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 300 pounds through assisted lifting. Must use hearing, speech, smell and tactile senses.
