The NASCAR Consumer Services Center, located in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a Consumer Services Representative with previous call center experience for a full-time shift opening.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Answering inbound calls from customers seeking to purchase advanced race tickets as well as general and/or account inquiries
Responsible for product upselling including packages and hospitality options
Staying up to date on relevant information across all NASCAR properties
Accurately process payments via credit cards
Professionally handle fan/customer inquiries
Make outbound sales calls as needed
Assist Internet Customers with account inquiries and online purchases
Outbound calls responding to post race surveys
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous call center experience preferred
Knowledge of Ticketmaster ticketing system preferred
Strong customer service skills
Solid data entry and proficient computer skills
Must work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

The Daytona International Speedway Ticket Office is seeking Ticket Operations Associates to assist in ticket sales and support.
Ticket Operations Associates provide for customer service, product upsell and order processing via telephone, mail, and walk-ups.
Responsibilities will include but are limited to:
Assist with the sales and service of DIS daily tours.
Practice of Needs Based Selling techniques through superior customer service, focusing on the customers' needs and educating.
Continually learn new events, promotions, sales techniques, and operational materials necessary to communicate to customer.
Create, sell, and process a DAYTONA EXPERIENCE via ticket software.
Operates computer, calculator, copier, and/or other office machines.
Assist with offsite ticket sales / promotions.
Performs any combination of the following duties according to specific departmental guidelines:
Strong communication skills.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Previous cash and credit card handling skills.
Positive attitude.
Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner.
Understanding of facility and general race knowledge helpful.

SEASONAL EVENT TRAM DRIVERS are responsible for driving trucks that pull trams on an assigned route during our annual events. Additionally a driver may be assigned as a van or bus driver for a designated route.
All drivers must have a valid Class A, B, or C CDL with current physical. Drivers must pass a Motor Vehicle Report before being considered.
Tram Drivers are only used during specified events during the race season, and will be assigned shifts based on needs by the Guest Services Department.
Shifts range from 8 - 15 hours but depend on race finish times.

Security Officers provide visible security presence to guests and employees. Locking/unlocking doors and gates at appropriate times. Screen all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials/tickets. Assist guests with questions regarding directions, information about the facility, parking, and disabled assistance. Posts are located throughout Speedway properties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time

JOB SUMMARY:
The seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member is responsible for greeting guests, checking admissions and answering questions our guests may have in our various hospitality locations. This job entails friendly, outgoing and positive people who are willing to work as part of a team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through with assigned responsibilities, multi-task and exercise good judgement
Must be able to attend and participate in all pre-event training sessions and all assigned event days
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including early mornings, late nights, weekends and indoor/outdoor environments when required
Must be punctual, dependable, able to stand for periods of time, walk long distances, ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
Exude positive attitude and place the guest experience at a premium
Must be able to attend training on August 10th from 8am-12pm

The Business Applications Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting and optimizing NASCAR's enterprise business applications. This position will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, assisting users with technical issues, managing software updates, and working closely with IT and business stakeholders to enhance application performance. Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide first-line support for enterprise business applications, addressing user inquiries and resolving technical issues.
Assist in the implementation, testing, and deployment of new software applications and system updates.
Work collaboratively with internal departments (Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations) to understand their business needs and ensure applications meet their requirements.
Maintain application documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to support integrations between business applications and other NASCAR technology systems.
Conduct training sessions and create instructional materials to enhance user adoption and efficiency.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements and optimizations.
Required skills / experience:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong project management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other corporate systems).
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Workday, or similar platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, or reporting tools (Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.

Essential Functions:
Perform Fire and EMS response functions. Shifts range from 6-16 hours depending on event.

Required Certifications:
Current State of Florida Fire I & II (Minimum Standards)
Current State of Florida EMT Basic or Paramedic Certificate (National Registry will not be accepted)
Current BLS CPR card (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
Current ACLS card (Paramedics) (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
EVOC or CEVO certificate
PALS or PEPP cert preferred, but not required (Paramedics)

The Daytona International Speedway seeks motivated individuals to join the Facility Operations team in the positions of Maintenance_Event based in Daytona Beach, Florida.
This position is a seasonal / event based position to assist the team in the areas of Maintenance Mechanic, Painter, Irrigation and Track Maintenance. Basic office systems knowledge including but not limited to computer system and programs, cellular phone and 2-way radios.
This position will perform routine preventative maintenance and repair procedures on race track and related infrastructures. Operate equipment and use tools as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in executing DIS events - major races, track rentals, other events.
Assemble and disassemble track equipment such as track gates, barricades, portable bleachers, etc.
Use all types of power tools and large equipment including forklift, front end loader, backhoe, bucket truck.
Perform preventive building maintenance duties.
Clean, repair, lubricate and maintain equipment, tools and machinery used for construction jobs.
Use saws, hammer, nails and bolts for framing.
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications using equipment, picks, or shovels
Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall and carpentry repairs. Participate in general cleaning, painting, and repair work.

Daytona International Speedway is seeking event employees with audio visual technical expertise that will interact with our guests and participants during racing events and onsite special events. This position would also provide support for setting up, installation, and repair work as needed by the Venue Technology team before and during events.
This is a part-time position that will have an irregular schedule based around our event schedule.
JOB SUMMARY
Support audio visual and public address aspects of Daytona Intl. Speedway related events. This includes large spectator events and track and client meeting room rentals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work closely with the DIS Operations, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams on upcoming events.
Provide support in setting up, installing and necessary repair work for all audio/video related equipment.
Support audio/video in fan areas to include the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage areas, as well as with special events held in the DIS Stadium.
Assist the Event Operations team as need to support events.
Help to maintain an inventory and operational readiness of AV equipment; assess existing equipment and provide updates on equipment issues.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
OTHER DUTIES
Be a team player, helping others whenever assistance is needed.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT UTILIZED
Basic office systems including but not limited to computer system & programs, cellular phone.
Understanding of live sound public address systems (mixing consoles and speakers).
Proficient with all types of hand and power tools.
Able to work safely using different types of lifts.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience working fan-based events.
Experience working with and near celebrities.
Available to work extended hours at consecutive days.
Experience with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Adobe.
Capable of lifting 50 - 75 pounds.
Comfortable working on a ladder. currently certified or have operated a forklift or scissor lift.

Event Ticket Sellers sell single day event tickets to walk-up fans using a Point of Sales ticketing computer system, sell admissions to RVs and vehicles entering the infield, distribute windshield passes and wristbands, and assist with event parking by collecting fees for parking.
Positions may be outdoors and subject to weather
Performs any combination of the following duties according to specific departmental guidelines:

Conduct Daytona International Speedway Tours (Speedway Tour, All Access Tour, and VIP Tour) in a professional and informative manner
Provide leadership to Tour Guide Drivers offering guidance, support and knowledge.
Ensure safety of guests.
Prepare trams at the start of the shift (i.e. check fuel, oil, water, and all other fluids as necessary)
Assist guests with special needs and ensure ADA compliance
Complete necessary paperwork (i.e. guest log sheet, incident and vehicle condition reports, daily closing sheets)
Memorize and deliver various tour script narratives to guests in a clear and exciting presentation.
Drive multi-unit trams, pickup trucks with single and double Featherlite trams, and a 28 passenger bus to deliver daily tours and during event time.
Drive pick-up truck with Featherlite Tram to take NASCAR Racing Experience guests to the infield and return to Tours area.
Operate walkie-talkie radio in proper and professional manner.
Enhance guest's knowledge of NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, and motorsports in general.
Assist in training of new staff

Position Summary

Daytona International Speedway seeks seasonal part time event workers in the position of Tram Fan Crew - Riders and Attendants. Event Tram Riders and Attendants are an important part of the Daytona experience. As a member of the Fan Crew, you will be responsible for bringing our guests an unforgettable racing experience. Fan Crew will work select publicly ticketed events throughout the year.
Event Tram Rider and Attendant is a seasonal/temporary event based position. Shifts range from 8-15 hours and will vary depending on specific event needs.
Responsibilities:
Ride on tram to ensure guests remain seated while the tram is in motion
Assist guests as necessary and as directed by the tram plaza supervisors when loading and unloading at tram plazas
Alert the driver immediately upon observing any unsafe movement of guests or incidents jeopardizing fan safety, equipment malfunction or failure
Rider must make PA announcements and play the designated PA message for each segment.
May be assigned to work as a plaza attendant or gate guard as needed

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Network Engineer based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.
NASCAR Network Engineer will be required to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot network and hardware problems and help maintain a highly available, flexible, and resilient network. Network Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, supporting existing network solutions, and ensuring our network is documented, available, and flexible to adapt to the demands from our customers. You will actively participate in group and individual training sessions to continue to learn and grow on the job and at industry events.

* Follows core processes and procedures to ensure operational success
* Monitor, track, benchmark, and analyze Voice/Data Network trends
* Analyze performance of responsible technologies and documented solutions, identify problem areas, and resolve root cause.
* Triage Service Incidents and Requests, and Problems reported by customers
* Assess the need for system reconfiguration based on Incidents and make sound recommendations
* Research emerging infrastructure solutions and other collaborative products, services, protocols, and standards
* Ensure the availability, stability, and integrity of Data, Voice, Video, and Wireless networks across security, wireless, routing, and switching platforms
* Support disaster recovery and business continuity programs
* Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers using tickets and all other appropriate mechanisms
* Prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously
* Document technical knowledge in the form of notes, manuals, tickets, documents, designs, network architecture topologies and emails
* Provide On-Call support on a schedule set forth by the Director, Network Engineering.
Required skills / experience:
* Associate degree or equivalent Experience Required
* 5+ Years in a Network Engineering Role
* CCNA Required (200-301)
* CCNP Strongly Encouraged (350-401 ENCOR + Concentration Exam)
Technical Skillsets:
* Competent with Network operations
* Capable of performing onsite Event Support and Engineering
* Experience in Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Palo Alto and Ubiquiti infrastructure and applications
* Extensive experience in networking products including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, Load Balancing solutions
* Experience in cloud networking. AWS and Azure.
* Experience with Wide Area Networking, BGP, Telco tickets and interactions
* Experience in network management tools and in packet capture analysis
* Knowledgeable on Data Center infrastructure included but not limited to Networking, VXLAN, Server, Virtualization, DNS, Storage, and Environmental controls
* Hands-on experience installing, configuring, managing and deploying Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Teams Voice
* Experience with voice routing and troubleshooting to multiple phone systems.
* Knowledgeable in programming skills using Python, REST, JSON, XML, and git.
* Professional competencies in computer engineering or related field of work
* Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision
* Capable of preparing reports, designs, and papers on technical issues

Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race” - the DAYTONA 500. Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
JOB SUMMARY
Seasonal role which the primary focus is to assist the Event Logistics Manager with the logistical setup/completion and service during large spectator events and track rentals at the Daytona International Speedway.
Liaison between various departments to include DIS Client & Event Experience, NASCAR Sales, Partnership Services and DIS Track Operations teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Events:
Primary event operations support for events.
Assist in development of ideas and implementation for events including but not limited to:
IMSA Testing & Rolex 24 (January)
NASCAR Speedweeks events (February)
March Bike Week
Spectator events such as Jeep Beach and Welcome to Rockville
Operations:
Assist with the management of vendors including but not limited to Tent and Fence vendors, ATM machines, United Site Services and Jumbo TV screens in fan loading areas.
Assist with Midway Display layout and set-up for events including scheduling maintenance of and scheduling load-in, vendor parking need, restroom placement, trash barrel placement, set-up of fence, coordinate directional signage and marking of underground utilities.
Assist with order, inventory and placement of event specific signage.
Coordinate and distribute credentials and parking passes for workers and operational vendors.
Sales:
Working with the Sales/Marketing Department effectively prospect for new ideas to ensure reaching sales goal and assist the organization in achieving its overall goal.
Effectively monitor client's satisfaction with programming and follow up to cover all the details.
Other Duties:
Be a team player, helping others whenever assistance is needed.
Other duties as assigned by DIS Operations.
Tools & Equipment:
Basic office systems including but not limited to computer system & programs, AUTOCAD, database management system.
Attendance Requirements:
This is a seasonal role intending for January - May 2024. Hours will vary but will include all hours the office is open, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to attend events and to fulfill job responsibilities.
