There is flexibility with the schedule and they are open to just the weekend days or the weekend days and the afternoons or just the week dayafternoons. The schedule will be: Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm and/or 3 evenings per week: Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays 3 or 5pm to 8 or 9pm. Please note that although this is primarily a live-out position, the family has a beach house in Delaware and the nanny will come with and be live-in during those weekends (private bedroom and en-suite bathroom). Generally they go once every 6-8 weeks during the off season and then more often during the summer. Responsibilities Childcare responsibilities will include: Tag teaming with parents and a week day nanny to provide nurturing care for four children between the ages of 2-9-years-old. All four will be in school starting in September but currently the younger two are home during the day. Driving including school picks ups and drop offs, driving to after school activities and weekend sports events, etc. The parents use gentle parenting and talk through actions and behaviors in a respectful, kind way Qualifications Sweet, genuine, nurturing personality. Easy going and not overwhelmed by a busy household. The older two children have some learning differences including ADHD so someone who can be patient with them is appreciated. Strong communicator and team player: the part-time nanny will be working alongside the family's week day nanny and parents on the weekends Organized, proactive, able to jump in to help out wherever needed with little direction. Everyone works as a team to help where needed Open to additional travel which would be one to two longer trips a year. Not required but nice to have Requirements Experience with children with Autism and/or special needs Comfortable swimming with children in the pool and ocean.
