Basic Qualifications: Experience + Two (2) years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care medical center 6 months of clinical experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist in an acute care medical center. + Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived. Education + Successful completion of an accredited educational program in radiological technology approved by the American Medical Association and the American College of Radiology as well as an on-the-job or formal training program in cross sectional anatomy and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. + Successful completion of an on-the-job or formal training program in cross sectional anatomy and magnetic resonance imaging License, Certification, Registration + Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California) + Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists + Basic Life Support Additional Requirements: + Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the principles, theories, practices and techniques of basic and advanced magnetic resonance imaging including clinical exams, physics, magnetic field safety, cross sectional anatomy and patient care.
