Responsible for cleaning resident IV pumps, feeding pumps, and poles weekly.
Responsible for auditing our emergency supplies weekly (flashlights and batteries).
Communicates appropriately and clearly to supervisor, nurse managers, coworkers and physicians.
Responsible for knowing nursing home policies and being familiar with services that are available.
Responsible for cleaning and organizing storage rooms weekly.
Treats residents and their families with respect and dignity; ensures confidentiality of residents' records
Interacts professionally with resident/family and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.
Responsible for distributing resident mail daily and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for scanning documents into the electronic medical record.

Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY:
Employee assists with daily resident activities, resident interviews, equipment audits, document filing, and organization of resident rooms, communal areas, and storage areas.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Student with work permit if required
College Student interested in pursuing healthcare degree
Administrative and clerical support experience preferred
HIPAA Training /Certification within 30 days of hire
