Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course. The Theatre and Performance Studies (TAPS) program Production Manager is responsible for the performance of a variety of managerial, supervisory, organizational, and assisted support duties as they relate to the three TAPS productions of each academic year. The Production Manager works closely with the Division Chair of the Division of Arts and Letters (DAL), the TAPSArtistic Director, the TAPSprogram faculty, and the Center of Performing Arts (CPA) technical, marketing, and box office staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Talent and Materials Procurement (25%)
* Coordinate selection of design, directing, consulting, and stage management staff as required per production.
* Upon identification, work with Procurement Department in contracting all directing, design, and stage management or consulting personnel.
* In collaboration with DALsupport staff, provide all information needed by GSUdepartments to provide materials, purchase orders, reimbursements, etc. pertaining to each TAPSproduction.
Support and Supervision of Personnel Hired/Registered for Each Production (25%)

Responsible for ensuring the proper training of all ATS staff and drivers. Maintains integrity of the ATS Fleet Safety Program, and functions as lead investigator for all accidents. Responsible for all aspects of the ATS video surveillance system. Responsible for identifying safety issues and trends, making recommendations to ATS management. Assists in selection and evaluation of drivers from a safety perspective. Required to carry a cell phone 24/7. On call in case of accidents/emergencies. May be required to work varied hours as necessary. Will be required to participate in Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing. Ability to work with limited supervision and the use of sound judgment is required. This position is contingent upon external funds.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. A minimum of two (2) years of experience driving or dispatching in the transportation industry required; experience in education and training preferred.
2. Associate's degree preferred.
3. Ability to meet and maintain the physical, drug and alcohol testing requirements and pass the criminal background screening per ATS and SWIC guidelines.
4. Knowledge of Federal and State Motor Carrier policies and regulations.
5. Have or obtain and maintain a CDL License in order to drive all ATS vehicles.
6. Must be familiar with computer programs which include desktop publishing and video editing.

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the dispatcher is responsible for receiving and disseminating information concerning complaints, incidents, and accidents; reporting discrepancies and malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate agencies; maintaining a computer-aided dispatch log; completing incident reports; controlling the radio net; dispatching patrols; serving as the Law Enforcement Agency Data System (LEADS) terminal operator; issuing student/staff identification cards and parking permits; and handling other department generated paperwork. Position subject to background check and drug testing, upon initial hire and randomly thereafter.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* No record or conviction of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude.
* Previous dispatching experience or completion of a Public Safety Telecommunication Course of Training is desirable.
* Prior experience with small office administration, personal computers, word processing, data base, spreadsheets and filing is also desirable.
