Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Our Uniformed Division's mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through individuals who embody honor, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C. Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.

Job Description
The Transmission & Distribution Interactions (T&D) group at NREL is looking for one to two innovative, collaborative, and enthusiastic research interns to work on integrating multiple commercial, open-source, and research software tools into large-scale co-optimization frameworks and conducting novel analysis using these tools. Specifically, this position will work others to use and help advance MDO4Grid, a multi-energy systems analysis automation and co-optimization framework that builds on the aerospace-developed OpenMDAO framework to enable the co-design of future transmission and distribution grids and grid-adjacent technologies such as buildings, vehicles, gas networks, etc. Depending on background and progress, there can be an opportunity for self-directed research to align with topics/tools of interest.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of programming experience in one or more modern languages, expertise with linking multiple software tools, and experience with simulation and technoeconomic design for power systems and multi-energy systems; however other exceptional candidates with multi-disciplinary backgrounds, excitement for this type of work, strong computer skills, and a proven track record of success in new areas are also encouraged to apply.
Successful intern candidates will join the T&D group in the Grid Planning and Analysis Center (GPAC) at NREL, a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative team of engineers, analysts, and software developers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to collaborative open-source modeling tools and package development
Conduct integrated energy system analysis using multiple software tools, including preparing data, configuring simulations, troubleshooting, reviewing results, and preparing visuals and other outputs to clearly explain outcomes for a wide range of audiences.
Potentially contribute to publications, including assisting with preparing user guides and documentation
Work effectively with interdisciplinary team of developers, engineers, and analysts

* Provide short term, individual counseling services and case management to inmates.
* Develop and update case plans, including documentation and maintenance of counseling files.

* Establish and maintain working relationships with community agencies for consultation, evaluation, therapy and other social services support for in-house programs and initiate inmate referrals to the community.

Education:
* Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or related field.
Required work experience:

Essential Duties:

Youth MOVE CO is a partnership with COACT - Colorado's System of Care and the Continuums of Cares in CO. This VISTA project will build the essential bridges to adulthood for transition age youth (ages 14-25) by expanding resources and enhance services for youth with behavioral health challenges and/or youth at risk of homelessness to help youth thrive. Vista members will help communities implement a coordinated community plan and create local Youth MOVE chapters to engage young people as key partners in addressing service deficiencies, increase youth informed programming development and build better understanding between adult service providers and the young people they serve. VISTA members will work with local youth ages 14- 25 and partners to map and identify developmentally appropriate resources for youth with behavioral health challenges to improve access and enhance services to improve youth transition planning and program access for young people living in poverty. They will assist local communities in building capacity to improve youth informed program improvement using the Y-VAL. Additionally, improve local capacity by developing a Youth MOVE chapter and local volunteers to provide youth peer support to increase engagement of transition aged youth resulting in improved well-being, and education and employment outcomes. This non-exempt position is responsible for assisting the Recreation Programs Manger in the planning and implementation of the Frisco Bike Camps, Frisco Adventure Camps and H2O Camps. The individual will also assist with the supervision and training of seasonal staff. This position requires an accountable, energetic, organized, team player with strong communication skills.
Must be available to attend Summer Staff training from 5/31-6/3, 2016, and be able to work the following camps; Bike Camp - 6/6-6/10, 6/20-6/24, 7/25-7/29, 8/8-8/12. Adventure Camp - 6/13-6/17, 6/27-7/1, 7/11-7/15, 8/1-8/5. H2O Camp - 6/13-6/17, 8/8-8/12, 8/15-8/19.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of Frisco camps
Assist with the training and supervision of program staff; Sports Instructors and Junior Sports Instructors
Assist in assuring that all safety requirements are being followed by camp participants and staff
Responsible for the safety, supervision and well-being of participants attending TOF summer camps
Responsible for running daily rosters and assisting with check-in and check-out of children to and from camp
Adhere to recreation program procedures, including staff expectations, parent contact and conflict resolution
Safely transports participants utilizing vans, TOF vehicles, buses or public transportation as needed
