Essential Functions
• Responsible for all manufacturing processes including, but not limited to machining, assembly, fabrication, CNC programming, cost estimating, plant/cell layouts, engineering standards, etc., and requires the coordination of all disciplines.

Busy metals mill in the Western Tennessee area needs a Process Improvement Engineer to identify improvements in a metals scrap operation. This is a large-scale metals shredding, scrap processing and metals recycling operation. To qualify, you should have experience with capital equipment used in working on large scale metals recycling, using high speed, high volume shredding machinery.

Provide timely and accurate cost estimates on proposed improvements.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field- or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4-6 years of practical training pertaining to scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, and/or shipping/warehouse or other heavy manufacturing operations, with some supervisory experience.
Good knowledge of steel or aluminum manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy mill machinery and related equipment.
