    Process Engineer - Scrap Operations - Steel Recycling Busy metals mill in the Western Tennessee area needs a Process Improvement Engineer to identify improvements in a metals scrap operation. This is a large-scale metals shredding, scrap processing and metals recycling operation. To qualify, you should have experience with capital equipment used in working on large scale metals recycling, using high speed, high volume shredding machinery. I am advertising in your area to locate experienced people who want to live and work in Jackson, Tennessee. Design or develop new or alterations to existing structures, systems, and equipment. Provide timely and accurate cost estimates on proposed improvements. Support and participate in CAPEX projects. Participate and contribute to the achievement of department goals including goal setting REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field- or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4-6 years of practical training pertaining to scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, and/or shipping/warehouse or other heavy manufacturing operations, with some supervisory experience. Good knowledge of steel or aluminum manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy mill machinery and related equipment.
