WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America) SUMMARY OF DUTIES SUMMARY OF DUTIES Responsible for creating, developing, and implementing, in coordination with Merit's Sales and National Accounts organizations, successful sales and relationship-building strategies with key clinical, administrative, and executive personnel within targeted Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN's) and Health Systems. Job Description 1. Develop, establish, and maintain strategic working relationships with targeted IDN's at an executive level. 2. Negotiate shared value agreements with targeted, strategic IDN customers. 3. Leverage and expand market penetration of Merit Medical products. 4. Align IDN strategies with GPO agreements. 5. Represent and interpret national GPO contracts within all key IDN customers; meet with national GPO customers to review existing agreements and to identify/target sales opportunities. 6. Develop working relationships with Merit Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives. 7. Provides economic buyer sales training to Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives. 8. Identify strategic opportunities for market expansion through Shared Value IDN agreements. 9. Represent Merit at targeted GPO and IDN-related industry meetings and conferences; promote products and educate internal and external customers. 10. Performs other sales related duties, as required. SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. • A minimum of seven years of related medical sales/marketing/clinical experience. • Excellent communication skills and the ability interact and develop relationships with executives of medical facilities and key IDN customers. • Ability to learn and understand the clinical use and application of Merit Medical products. COMPETENCIES • Training/presentation skills • Negotiation • Computer skills • Contract interpretation • Interpersonal communication skills $135,000-$165,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
