Ford Motor Credit Company seeks an attorney for the role of Lead Compliance Counsel, to join our Compliance Office supporting Ford Credit's compliance management program.
This is a hybrid role to Dearborn, MI and will be required to work onsite 3 days a week. A fully remote position would be considered for the right candidate. The position reports directly to Ford Credit's Chief Compliance Officer.
**What you'll do...**
+ Work collaboratively with members of the Ford Credit Legal and Compliance Offices to provide practical advice that demonstrates a strong understanding and application of consumer finance laws to Ford Credit's business.
+ Support the maintenance and management of the Company's compliance management program, policies and procedures, monitoring, training, and special compliance related projects.
+ Manage legal and compliance risk by anticipating and detecting areas of potential exposure, implementing or expanding preventive measures to ensure compliance and avoid costs, increasing employee awareness, and improving Company decision-making.
+ Coordinate and manage state regulatory examinations and assist in coordination of federal regulatory reporting and regulatory examinations.
+ Manage fair lending monitoring program.
+ Research and advise the Company on appropriate licenses necessary to engage in business and manage the process to secure and maintain required licenses.
+ Monitor law changes and the regulatory environment and recommend and implement process changes in response to evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
+ Work with domestic and international affiliates to ensure required company filings, documents, and company records in place to support operations as well as strategic transactions.
+ Develop and deliver training on consumer financial protection laws and regulations.
+ Provide advice and recommendations on regulatory matters.
+ Contribute to industry initiatives through trade organizations.
**You'll have...**
+ J.D. from an accredited law school
+ Membership in good standing of a US state bar and meets the eligibility requirements under the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct to provide legal services to Ford Credit in Michigan
+ 5+ years of experience in a large law firm or consumer financial services business legal or compliance department
+ 5+ years of experience with the legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. Dodd-Frank, TILA, Consumer Leasing Act, FCRA, SCRA, UDAAP, GLB, ECOA, and state laws) applicable to financial services business

The Clinical Education team exists to support all the Primary Care Organization's providers, nurses, social workers and other staff members through training education spanning onboarding to continuing education.
**Role Description**
The LCSW Behavioral Health Educator will be embedded within the clinical education team and will oversee training aspects of the cognitive behavioral health screenings, psychosocial assessments, techniques that can be used to help patients engage with their own health (i.e., CBT, DBT, other), supporting complex social issues, as well as train our staff in normalizing having conversations with patients on end-of-life goals of care. The LCSW Behavioral Health educator will also be a subject matter expert and pulled into developing training content, delivering effective didactics to large audiences. The LCSW Behavioral Health educator will be responsible for training LCSWs and MSWs, as well as other team members on key LCSW and MSW job profile content areas: behavioral health assessments and plans, collaborative care model practices, cognitive disorders assessments, end of life goals of care conversation, addressing social complexity (SDOH) needs, and use of therapeutic modalities in the short term to help patients self-manage symptoms related to BH illnesses and manage their chronic conditions.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker uses a clinical lens to assess, evaluate and address behavioral health and complex social needs of the patient population.
The LCSW Behavioral Health educator has a deep understanding of all the High-risk program management roles and gains the respect and confidence of their peers as a peer educator.
**Main responsibilities**
+ Develop, plan, organize, and supervise training for LCSWs and MSWs including principles of population health, value-based care, senior care. May also need to incorporate EMR, compliance, primary care policy and procedure, coding and documentation, quality, utilization, customer service standards, team communication as needed. Training could occur in-person in markets and virtually through live and recorded sessions.
+ Serve as faculty for CIT Learning Journey and provider onboarding as needed.
+ Monitor LCSW and MSW role performance through direct observation, chart review, data review, and provide guidance to ensure that the quality of care being provided meets appropriate standards and to ensure cost-effective utilization practices for new and current associates that require coaching or performance improvement plans.
+ Supports the development of score cards to document LCSW and MSW work quality and completes score cards through direct observation, chart review and shares such data with education team, CIT team and other stakeholders on a regular basis.
+ Work collaboratively with CIT Program Delivery team, Division Directors, Practice Implementation Lead, compliance, legal, coding, and legal teams market teams and PCO leadership to identify training needs for CIT team members.
+ Represent the organization in recruiting and marketing events as needed.
+ Serves as a key SME interviewer in future LCSW and MSW hires to promote standardized and consistent hiring approach.
+ Maintain active clinical practice in the local market for a portion of the time. This is currently set to 20%. May serve as faculty for Activity Center topic of the month session or CIT Grand Rounds for CE credit as needed.
+ Travel up to 30% for onsite training delivery, role observation, and clinical practice

**Required Qualifications**
+ Independent Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) in home state
+ Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as needed
+ Minimum of fives years' experience working as a Clinical Social Worker
+ Experience in a Value-Based Care setting
+ Knowledge of community health and social service agencies, and behavioral health resources
+ Experience working as part of an interprofessional team
+ Experience in training and/or training content development
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with state Medicaid guidelines and application processes preferred.
+ Experience working with patients with behavioral health conditions and substance use disorders preferred.
+ Prior experience conducting home visits and knowledge of field safety practices preferred.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
