A Day in the Life
In this role, you will implement and execute the strategy and implementation plan for educational programs for new and tenured sales representatives and clinical specialists to drive electrophysiology (EP) product procedure across the CAS portfolio of cardiac ablation products. You will play an integral role in executing the training and education strategy for the US sales team, as our business enters multiple new market segments and expands the cardiac ablation portfolio with advanced technologies. You will serve as the lead for regional customer and employee education and training activities in support of CAS procedure and product launches. Partnering with key leadership, sales field and cross functional personnel to identify opportunities for and barriers to improving regional performance.
You will serve as the customer and field technical resource in CAS. Providing expertise and leadership in the areas of Physician and Field education, AHP education, clinical evidence interpretation, and Medtronic employee education. You will provide feedback to product development, internal training and education on content development and the marketing team to improve future offerings.

* Drives regional education and training activities
* Train and educate internal teams and external customers on CAS procedures, therapies/products, processes, and solutions
* Continued education and assessment of tenured field team
* Leads coordination of new-hire training with accountability to hiring manager (CSM or RM)
* Responsible for new hire sign-off
* Delivers new product and procedural field training and ensures that all required technical and clinical evidence for our products is delivered in a manner that our field teams can articulate to customers.
* Execute engaging field sales and clinical specialist field education programs that are targeted, purposeful, and support electrophysiology knowledge and skills in procedures and cardiac ablation therapies based on needs of the US Sales organization objectives
* Understands competitive technology and therapies and can craft a message as to why Medtronic therapies provide a competitive advantage.
* Disseminate competitive information to regional teams
* Delivers competitive technical and clinical training to sales teams in collaboration with sales leaders/marketing
* Enhances relationships with current and future stakeholders by delivering strategic and innovative education to promote Medtronic products and therapies while focusing on clinical value
* Collaborates to roll out new product training initiatives; new products' indications, troubleshooting/tips and tricks, safety updates - "Train the Trainer"
Technical and Clinical Expert
* Translates complex technical messaging, dispels competitive claims, resolves complex technical issues, and maintains customer relationships through technical expertise
* Understands, interprets, and participates in communication of product and procedure updates and field corrective actions pertinent to Medtronic products and therapies

Must have minimum requirements
* Bachelor's degree PLUS a minimum of 7 years of experience in electrophysiology or sales/service/engineering in the Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Rhythm, or Implantable Medical Device Industry
OR
* Advanced Degree in Engineering or Nursing with 5 years of experience in electrophysiology or sales/service/engineering in the Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Rhythm, or Implantable Medical Device Industry
Desired/Preferred qualifications:
* IBHRE/RCES certification
* The successful candidate will preferably have experience in marketing new technologies and therapies; preferably mapping and navigation cardiac ablation experience
* Degree in biomedical engineering or nursing
* Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic, or cardiology experience
* Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel
* Thorough working knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device industry
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proven ability to build/maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels
* Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines
* Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position
* Expertise with Microsoft tools and other business applications (i.e SalesForce)
* Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
* Practical and demonstrated knowledge of project/program management practices desired for Senior and Principal Levels with the ability to complete work group objectives with little guidance

The Global Support Engineer, as part of the RAS service team, will be responsible for providing product technical troubleshooting for Global field technical escalations, spare parts provisioning, and development of strategies for field replacement units in collaboration with the RAS operations team and Principal technical Service Lead.
This individual is considered an expert in the field within the Medtronic organization. Key measures of success include uptime management, internal and external customer satisfaction and functional objectives as well as Service specific goals and objectives. In this role, the individual will help implement and monitor service projects/processes associated with the Robotic Assisted Surgery System.
This role will represent service on all appropriate business groups. This work includes working closely with factory and field management and cross functional teams on the Field service aspects of new product introductions, field technical trainings as well as providing Level III technical support to the field.
Day in the Life
* Lead and drive Field service escalation program management for supporting installed RAS systems.
* Provide LIII engineering field support by following the appropriate use of the escalation process, when other avenues for resolution are exhausted. This activity may include travel to sites to perform both system repair, validation, and data gathering
* Validation of warranty claim submissions and assist in the review of field service issues for appropriate classification and root cause analysis.
* Deliverables including technical training, Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) upgrades strategy and implementation. Work very closely with Regional Field Service management to coordinate activities
* Be a services ECO ( change order) representative in R&D projects. Includes both ECO origination for service based deliverables as well as ECO approval for all business activities with Service impact
* Provide timely and accurate follow-up to broader Services team (outside of RAS S&R) for call closure and escalation follow-up
* Develop content, validate, and release Technical Service Bulletins/Manuals to support field/factory activities
* Develop, maintain, and distribute quarterly actionable service metrics specific to RAS service activities
* Active participation in RAS quality system. Function as a liaison between service team and the quality group. Ensure accurate collection of data on system performance
* Assist in the analysis of data against the installed base to show correlations. Function as a liaison between engineering staff and customer base to improve the functionality of the system
* Provide appropriate follow-up communications with internal and external customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
* Other duties as assigned/requested by management
* All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System

Qualifications - External
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
* Bachelors degree required
* 3+ years of service experience, at least 1 year of medical device experience with robotics technologies a plus
Nice to Have
* Biomedical Engineering degree or equivalent
* Experience providing technical support & services. Including equipment and application support.
* Systems are primarily used in the operating room, so healthcare/surgical setting experience
* Familiarity with FDA product requirements and regulatory guidelines
* Experience with robotics or motion control
* Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Familiarity with most commonly used test equipment (i.e.: power supplies, DVM's, signal generators, flow meters, etc)
* Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings
* Familiar with the FDA 21 CFR, CGMP for Medical devices
* Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office products as well as ERP and CRM software packages (such as SAP, ServiceMax and SalesForce.com)
* Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner, are necessary to accomplish this task
* Responsive problem solver and action oriented in resolving customer issues and meeting customer requirements

* Provide training and support to hospital staff on proper setup and use of the Hugo RAS system.

Qualifications

Main Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Develop and manage strong working relationships with identified Key Accounts, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other account stakeholders including MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, nurses, clinical pharmacists and other office / administrative staff.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and KOLs, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and coordinating the resolution of any customer issues or concerns.

Manage travel and expense and promotional events budgets.

Product Education and Demand Generation:
Provide primary, on-label, commercial product and services education to targeted HCPs.
Demonstrate deep marketplace, disease state and product expertise during external communications and presentations.
Engage MS customers within assigned geographical territory and deliver clinically focused and patient centric messages to grow brand adoption, share and revenue.
Consistently deliver on product goals.

Pull-Through:
Compliantly assist with patient pull-through in collaboration with field reimbursement, market access and HUB colleagues.
Know and communicate payer environment and its impact on patient access to Key Accounts, KOLs and stakeholders.
Develop deep understanding of product access processes at Key Accounts, including internal and external workflows and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with market access team to solve KOL issues or concerns regarding patient access.
Territory Analysis:
Monitor and analyze sales performance using company provided tools and KPIs.
Utilize and act upon any AI generated next best action suggestions per account / KOL.
Create and present territory, account and KOL level data analysis to field leadership, marketing and home office leadership, as directed.
Deeply understand IC plan and how to meet and achieve sales objectives.
Insight Generation:
Generate and capture KOL insights into system of record related to disease state, products, company and competitive landscape.
Present key market insights and KOL feedback to field leadership, marketing and home office leadership to help inform marketing strategies and brand planning.
Identify KOL advocates and work compliantly with marketing to leverage their advocacy.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:
Communicate and coordinate with other field-based and home office-based Neurology cross functional team members, especially with overlapping field reimbursement managers, medical science liaisons and market access colleagues in assigned territory to ensure optimal account success and to address customer and patient needs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on and develop client-facing materials, as directed.
About You
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or pharmaceutical account management (5+ years of experience preferred).
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex client relationships.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~70-80% of travel given field-based role).
Ideal candidate will live in assigned territory and preference will be given to candidates who meet this criteria, all other factors being equal. Prior experience working in assigned territory will also be considered.

Bachelor's degree in life sciences.
MBA or advanced degree.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. This is a field-based role available in multiple states within US. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison will be responsible for fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field of dermatology. As the Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving healthcare innovation in the Southwest Region of the United States.
You will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining relationships with current and future industry experts, including Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Biologic Coordinators
* Building and managing Key Opinion Leader relationships across a select number of districts
* Organizing and managing KOL activities and events to support the brand's KOL engagement strategy.
* Identifying and vetting promotional speakers, coach speakers, and managing communications with promotional speakers
* Leading or partnering with home office-based teams to develop and deliver marketing and educational programs
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement
Skills and Experience
Required:
* Minimum of 7 years of related industry experience
* 2+ years of people management or project management experience
* Concentration in biotechnology sales or marketing, with a preference for medical dermatology therapeutic markets
* Experience in managing and growing customer relationships
* Demonstrated track record of success and leadership
* Excellent communication and the ability to effectively convey insights & ideas
* Ability to analyze complex business situations and identify creative solutions
* Experience in vendor management
* Ability to travel Up to 60% local/regional, including evening events, overnight stays, and weekend travel.
* Candidates should reside within the region and be located within a reasonable distance to a major airport.
