Located in Medina, Ohio, Medina County Career Center provides training for such occupations as: * Dental Assisting * Hair Design * Medical Assisting Medina County Career Center also trains future law enforcement officers through its Police Academy. For those who are already working in business and other professions, Medina County Career Center has part-time professional development classes as well. Also offered on a part-time basis are enrichment courses in Arts and Crafts, Languages and other areas of special interest. In addition to all of that, Medina has a separate division that operates as a highly engaging career-based high school. Students get credit while also training for careers in such fields as: * Animal Care * Business * Building Trades * Healthcare In addition to courses, high school enrollees may get involved with student clubs and organizations and even work for the school newspaper. High school students interested in admissions must visit the school, after which point they or their parents may fill out an admissions application online. Adults may enroll online or by telephone. High school students attend free of charge, while there are tuition fees for adult students. Pell grants, workforce development funds and veteran's benefits are some of the financial aid sources available.
