It seems like medical coders are becoming more and more common across America. But working conditions and demand for medical coders aren't the same everywhere in the U.S. Our research shows that Nevada is the best state in the country for medical coders.
To that end, we dove into our dataset of job and salary numbers to figure out which states have the best opportunities for medical coders. Nevada is the best state for medical coders, where the median salary is $55,433.We found that the Midwest is best for medical coders, and the West is the worst. Trenton, NJ is the best city in the country for medical coder jobs, where as Nevada is the best state in the country.
