ABOUT PROGRAM:
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants for our Summer Camp Technology Teacher and Assistant positions!
Tech Academy teaches week-long technology classes. We offer Minecraft, Movie Making, Video Game Design, Legos, and Robotics classes for students ages 6-14.
Ideal applicants for Teacher positions are college students/graduates with experience with elementary-age children or licensed teachers. Ideal applicants for Assistant positions are tech-savvy college students or those qualified for the Lead Teacher position looking for a more relaxed role in the classroom. Many of our past employees were able to use our positions to satisfy internship requirements.
You must be available for ALL locations and for at least 9 weeks this summer, from May 26th to August 15th. Classes run Monday through Friday, and you will need to be available from 8 am to 5 pm.
Our headquarter location is in Roseville, Minnesota. We arrange to have the equipment mailed to you, and you will mail the equipment back to us (at our cost).
Training and Equipment:
Before teaching or assisting, teachers complete 15+ hours of online training on essential camp management and leadership skills and then complete a virtual 3+ hour employee orientation (done via Zoom). We provided all the equipment and curriculum needed to teach classes.
Pay:
Teachers: $20-$25 an hour
Assistants $16-$19 an hour
Prep and training: $15 an hour

Available every weekday from May 26th-August 15th between 8 am and 5 pm
Within a 45-minute drive of the Southglenn area. Classes are held at: Lone Tree Hub, Lone Tree Rec Center, Goodson Rec Center, Sheridan Rec, and Buck Rec Center
