Our busy Dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team!
Duties:
Utilize Electronic Medical Record system
Assist physicians by performing administrative and clinical duties
Interview patients to obtain their medical history
Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files
Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
Assist physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials
Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining work practices that comply with established office policy and procedures
Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors and peers
Oversee and ensure that patients' needs are met and that patients' are served in an efficient and friendly manner
Respond to staff doctor needs before, during, and after patient exam
Answer incoming telephone calls, greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work with confidential information and under pressure

Full-Time - Monday-Friday
7:30am-5:00pm with an hour lunch M-Thu. Friday 8:00-2:00pm
Experience:

Education:
High School Diploma is required
Certifications/Licenses:
Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma or Associate degree preferred
Pay:
Pay starts at $23.00 per hour and increases with years of experience.
