Job Description:

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Work Schedule: Per diem, as needed.

Job Responsibilities
* Transcribe gross and microscopic descriptions on surgical pathology cases comprised of moderately difficult medical terminology.
* Accurate and timely data entry of dictated and/or handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system
* Provides complete and accurate resolution to all user inquiries or redirects inquirer to appropriate resource(s) in a timely manner
* Identifies problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective action/accurate solutions
* Researches, troubleshoots and follows-up to ensure all inquiries/problems are resolved in a timely manner
Requirements:
* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
* Previous Pathology transcription experienced a plus
* Experience with transcriptionist software is preferred
* Excellent data entry and typing skills
* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
* High level of attention to details
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
