Build, coach and develop an outstanding team of production leaders Ensure effective allocation of resources across all areas of the plant to accomplish customer‐driven priorities Coordinate effectively with sales, product mgt., design engineering, and other functional organizations Partner with the broader management team to ensure the best possible product, and customer satisfaction Continually benchmark best practices and drive effective implementation FIRST YEAR DELIVERABLES: The successful candidate would have accomplished the following in their first year: Assessed the current state of the operations and organization; leverage current efficiencies and LEAN out inefficiencies. Developed a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the plant that determines the right priorities and sequence to build and drive a common operating model always with continuous, sustainable improvement top of mind Refine critical KPIs and review mechanisms Led a significant coaching/mentoring program designed to upgrade talent especially at the front-line supervisor level Drive technician turnover rates substantially down with accelerating improvement Develop enhanced and effective communication strategies that brings the ‘voice of the customer” down to the front line.
