This position works with the Turnaround & Capital Construction Manager to provide leadership for all minor and major turnaround activities in the refinery.
Principle Responsibilities:
Provide planning expertise and development for major and minor refinery turnarounds.
Work with refinery cross functional team to gather and develop all facets of TA scope including ajustification review.
Provide direction and leadership to develop, maintain and support TA.
Organize and chair all planning and steering committee meetings.
Manage TA contractors.
Establish milestone plans and track progress for all planning activities.
Establish long lead material items and work with material coordinator to ensure delivery.
Monitor compliance with all standard and generic structures in support of TA best practices.
Provide support to Area Planners, Material Coordinators and other team members on all phases and aspects of the TA.
Develop critical path management plans and scheduling criteria based on best practices.
Work with Operations to establish shutdown and startup plans.
Develop report requirements in support of the TA Manager.
Coordinate inspection plans across all areas.
Track and assist in the management of scope growth.
Develop overall major equipment list for the TA.
Work with TA Manager and contracts to implement TA contracting and award of work strategies.
Provide TA management with support for cost estimating, bid package development, contract implementation and performance goal setting.
Lead project team to identify major issues and concerns and resolve them in a timely manner.
Help develop annual TA budgets and project plans.
Ensure that all established procedures, standards and policies are incorporated within all TA activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline plus 7 years of experience working in maintenance project management in refining/petrol chemical planning and estimating in leu of engineering degree must possess 12 years of experience working in maintenance project management in refining/petrol chemical planning and estimating.
3+ years' supervisory or process management experience in a union environment required.
Must be proficient in project controls.
Project Management certification preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite required. SAP experience preferred.
Must be able to respond to 24/7 call ins, work rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, and meet all scheduling requirements.

**Job Summary**

BARGE MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT

I. BASIC FUNCTION
The Barge Maintenance Superintendent helps execute the Preventive Maintenance and Repair Program for CBC's barge fleet.
This includes the oversight of maintenance and repair projects and barge cleaning.

III. REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) years of marine and/or boat/barge maintenance experience, marine inspection, marine repair or other related experience.
Good management and communication skills, computer skills and outstanding initiative and teamwork.
Significant travel to shipyards, fleets and facilities required, as is remote office and field work at these remote locations.
Related marine experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, American Bureau of Shipping or as a Marine Surveyor
Good working knowledge of barge structure, barge operations, equipment, machinery, proper repair and construction techniques.
IV. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements of the job include climbing ladders and stairs, repetitive bending and squatting, entering, working within and maneuvering in confined spaces on barges, and working outdoors in extreme heat and cold.

+ Provide field leadership and management of equipment maintenance and readiness to meet specific project needs

**Qualifications**
+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management **OR** similar type experience in a construction related position that provides the knowledge and experience required for this position.
+ 5+ years of experience in mechanical related field.
+ Knowledge of construction safety and current federal and provincial requirements.
+ Broad knowledge of engineering and construction methods.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Basic computer skills.
+ Exhibits integrity & ethical behavior in all things; understands Kiewit ethics policy of knowing and acting within policies and practices.
+ Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Willingness, ability, and enthusiasm for travel, sometimes on short notice.

What you will do
* Supervises, assigns, and inspects the work of the maintenance staff.
* May be required to participate "hands-on" in some of the maintenance and repair of the equipment.
* Prepares estimates of work hours, materials, and resources required for projects; approves and initiates requisitions for materials and supplies; and prepares reports and maintains records of repairs.
* Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and facilities.
* Prepares reports and analysis setting forth progress of preventive maintenance, work order programs. Identifies any adverse trends and takes appropriate action to correct or makes recommendations and/or conclusions.
* Responsible for maintaining the most cost-effective spare parts inventory levels, and ensuring minimal downtime by securing an accurately and sufficiently stocked parts area(s).
* Responsible for compliance to all regulatory requirements as it relates to equipment and facility maintenance including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, and the NFRP programs.
* Responsible for budget compliance with respect to maintenance labor and expenses. Provides recommendations to continually improve budget expenses. Assists manager in developing annual budgets.
* Trains and instructs personnel.

Who you are
* High School or GED.
* 2-5 Years' Experience Operation and maintenance of a warehouse distribution center or equivalent combination of experience.
* Knowledge of principles involving mechanical and electrical design, maintenance and repair fundamentals of automated industrial production equipment. Automated warehouse systems knowledge preferred.
* Must possess proficient knowledge and continuous adherence of OSHA, State and Local safety standards and the MLO Safety program standards.
* Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
* Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team.
* Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
Essential physical requirements you will perform
* Lifts and moves items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.
