Mechanical Engineer - Facility Engineer 629814 Purpose/Accountabilities: The Mechanical Engineer will provide technical support to operations with a primary focus on enhancing safety, compliance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. This role is key in ensuring the successful execution of "run and maintain" projects and supporting turnaround operations by providing precise and timely engineering for repairs. Participate in task forces and provide input on operational improvements as needed. Assist with incident investigations and ensure thorough follow-through on action items. Address Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) action items and provide resolutions as necessary. Support field construction and resolve technical issues encountered during construction activities. Assist with turnaround activities and contribute to planning and execution. Participate actively in the area team environment, ensuring open communication and teamwork. Physical ability to perform site-based work, including climbing ladders, working at heights using fall protection, and entering confined spaces with necessary safety equipment (e.g., respirators).
