Essential Functions

Routine Maintenance Tracking:
This position includes a fleet management view of the company's equipment,
Keeping a detailed list of the maintenance status of all truck, trailer, jeep and booster equipment and what is upcoming for each piece of equipment.
Track oil changes and other monthly or mileage required maintenance.
Communicate with drivers about required maintenance and tire replacement
Communicate with repair shops on the road.
Repairs and Maintenance:
Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Schedules repairs and maintenance at a shop on the road or the equipment to get into the shop for work to be completed.

PURPOSE:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

* Experience with operating heavy machinery (forklifts and man lifts).
* Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.
Essential Requirements:
* Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment
* Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
* The use of X-ray machines.
* Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights 25ft).
* Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time for required tasks.
* Use of respirator if position requires.
* Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.
* Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
* Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
* Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, outside majority of the time.
* Work is performed on limited or restricted surfaces.
* Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
* Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
* Standing
* Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
* If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
