qualified according to their field of Powerplant Maintenance and the level of maintenance
assigned, i.e., “O” Level or “I” Level. Experience shall include maintenance, repair, alignment,
calibration, operation, and functional test of engines and engine-related equipment. Satisfactory
completion of U.S. Armed Forces mechanic school or other schools with equivalent curriculum
preferred. Must be familiar with the applicable aircraft, engines and have experience with military

Service Technician Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
Previous experience at an automotive dealership
Strong understanding of the service drive
Years of experience vary per position
High school diploma or equivalent
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Responsibility:
The responsibility of the Field Service Mechanic is as listed but not limited to:
a. Service
Conducting service calls,
Inland and/or Offshore majors,
Inland and/or Offshore surveys,
Maintaining a high level of communication and service to our customers.
Responsible for equipment and consumables for job and any items to complete the task(s) asked of them.
Responsible for identifying and implementing solutions to repair.
Perform diagnosis and repairs'
Perform conditioning and repair on ep
Responsible for helping keep the shop area clean.
b. Project Management:
i. Work with the Service Manager, Division Manager, and/or Office Coordinator on scheduling repair and re-man projects to ensure they are completed on time.
ii. Responsible for letting the Service Manager know if help is needed on projects to complete the repairs in the allotted time.
c. Inventory and Recording:
i. Responsible for ensuring that all parts taken from inventory are recorded and all paperwork is turned in to the Inventory Department.
ii. Responsible for ensuring all parts not used on the job are returned to the Inventory Control Department.
Preferred Talents:
Technical and product knowledge.
Technical certification in the industry is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic diagnostic qualifications.
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
