Position Summary
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic and intermediate preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Essential Functions
Train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors and trailers.
Create and complete work order entries. Maintain work order and vehicle maintenance records.
Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions such as regular servicing of vehicles including oil changes, and equipment inspections.
Electrical diagnostics, repair and replacement.
Lead and/or assist with the physical parts inventory, receiving and proper charge out of parts to work orders.
Learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders.
Performs general cleaning and repair duties.

Job Summary
iLABS is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team. This role is a great opportunity to get to the ground floor of a growing and successful company. This is an hourly position located in Mahwah, NJ.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust machinery for production processes:
Installing and Adjusting Machinery: install and adjust feed mechanisms, guide rollers, tracks, and machine fittings according to the size and shape of the materials being processed.
Calibrating Controls: adjust controls like setscrews and cams to synchronize machine mechanisms.
Regulating Temperature: regulate thermostatic controls on heated units of machines.
Replacing Worn Parts: disassemble machines and replace worn or defective parts.
Testing and Troubleshooting: start machines to test adjustments and examine products for defects, making necessary readjustments.
Maintenance: sharpen machine punches and blades, replace or repair defective machine belts, and perform preventive maintenance.
Perform equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Assist to determine and document preventive maintenance and services required to perform.
Install and bring production line equipment to the factory.
Assemble, install, and perform testing on the equipment as part of the deployment effort.
Document installation and testing procedures.
Perform & document preventive maintenance and services to the equipment.
Identify and document spare parts and quantity needed to keep in stock in the manufacturing facility.
Requirements
Two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic
High School Diploma/GED.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
