Your Responsibilities * Perform shop repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, truck mounted forklifts, bucket trucks, platforms, conveyors, trucks and trailers. * Perform preventive maintenance per customer schedule, Annual DOT inspections and warranty service. * Provide emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs during working and non-working hours. * Able to communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to shop manager. * Responsible for service documentation in a timely manner that consists of but limited to; estimates, work order authorization, ordering and recording parts, labor, and inventory documentation. * Comply with state and federal safety regulations. * Maintain safe, clean and orderly work areas. Your Qualifications * High School diploma or GED required. Must speak, read and write English. * 3 years mechanical experience or training with emphasis in the area of articulating cranes and forklifts, strong proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, troubleshooting diagnostics and welding. * Basic computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications. * Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful. Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs+ for extended periods of time. * Subject to: Inside/Outside conditions, Noise, Vibrations, Oils, & Hazards. * Supply own hand tools, Palfinger proprietary tools will be provided.
