What You'll Do
* Work with supervision to troubleshoot basic conveyor material handling systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems
* Responsible for projects related to facilities as directed by the Supervisor
* Work regularly on aerial platform lifts, boom/snorkel lift, and powered industrial trucks (reach, order picker, stand up, pallet runners, stock chaser, etc.)
* Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents
* Responsible for keeping and maintaining tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area
What You'll Need
* Minimum 1 year experience in industrial maintenance or relevant certification(s)
* Experience with basic carpentry including painting, drywall, cleaning and basic maintenance

* Proficient using computer systems and CMMS software

The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
Safety
Comply with applicable MSHA regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and procedures applying to the worker or person that are part of a safety and health management system for the mine.
If the worker has information that other persons need to know to fulfil their obligations or duties under the CFR, or to protect themselves from the risk of injury or illness, to give the information to the other persons

Comply with instructions given for safety and health of persons by the mine operator or a supervisor at the operation

Perform preventative maintenance checks and close out work orders.
Kit and Prepare parts ahead of time for larger planned projects and jobs.

Pipeline (metal/plastic), slurry pumps, cable (wound wire) splicing and replacement, lubrication, packing, seal water, hydraulics, anchor moves, communication components, bearings, sheaves, drive belts, other miscellaneous equipment at the Dredge.
Wet Plant
Slurry and Vertical Turbine Pumps, packing (seal water), pipeline (plastic),
density separators, hydrocyclones, scrubber/agitator, flotation system, walkways and structural work, other miscellaneous equipment at the Wet Plant.
Dryer and Loadout
Vibrating feeders, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, fluid bed dryer,
fans, wet scrubber, pipeline (metal), pumps, loadout equipment, dust collection equipment, railcar mover and other miscellaneous equipment at the Dryer/Loadout.
The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in a maintenance role (at least four years)
Previous exposure to preventative maintenance strategies
