As a Senior Scientific Freezer Mechanic, you will be the senior refrigeration mechanic responsible for a fleet of nine production lyophilizers and one pilot-scale freeze-dryer. Working as a team with a second mechanic and authorized service agents, this candidate will perform preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs, maintain critical spare-parts inventory levels, and provide on-call, after-hours technical support to the production staff. The Ride Maintenance Mechanics perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of a variety of different amusement rides and attractions. Areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to) maintenance of: gearboxes, chains, sprockets, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, wire rope, hoists, brakes, pumps, and large bearings.
