We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electromechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Duties
Locate breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipment
Install, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.)
Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipment
Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceeding
Adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programs
Maintains OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Must be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience in the food manufacturing sector
Experience in electromechanics, mechanical manufacturing, or other relevant training
Strong attention to detail and ability to intervene safely, quickly, and effectively
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in all types

Responsibilities - Service Technician:
Communicate with customers and/or service advisors for a description of vehicle problems, discuss work to be performed, and any anticipated future repairs.
Repair / service all vehicle systems such as brakes, A/C, tires, transmission, engine, oil changes, fluid flushes, warranty work, and recalls.
Test and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
Test-drive vehicles, test components, and systems.
Keep training up to date.
Keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect operations; comply with hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations; provide necessary training on these regulations and ethical practices.
Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.

Main Ingredients of the Job

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment with in planned time tolerances to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet.
Perform FAI/CVI (First Article Inspection/Commercial Vehicle Inspection) (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment by all federal, state and local legal and regulatory agencies. (Includes all state-required inspections and frequencies).
Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, refrigeration units (Reefer), lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment.
Perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and any company-owned equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair to refrigeration units (Reefer).
Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, and efficiently.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.

Repair and regular maintenance of arresting engines.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting military drawings.

The Mechanic/Truck Body Installer is responsible for the installation of Roll off hoist, cranes, container carriers, hooklifts, and other heavy equipment onto chassis using their training, experience, knowledge and education conforming to the specification defined by customer and proper installation guidelines/SOP. Your Responsibilities
* Read and understand prints, specification and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
* Mount equipment onto chassis safely, efficiently and correctly. Test and inspect application during each completed step.
* Plan and layout technical components and apply proper installation.
* Hydraulics:
* Understand blueprints. Plumb high pressure and low-pressure hydraulic systems.
* Electrical:
* Interface body builder components with multiple types of chassis applications.
* Powet Take Off (PTO):
* Experience installing transmission mounted, and engine mounted PTO's on heavy duty trucks.
* Pneumatic:
* Lift axles, air brake systems, and other air operated components.
* Understand and follows all written instructions as per tool requirements, inspection plans, etc.
* Accurately complete all required documentation at the time of the task.
* Responsible for all company tools in assigned/dedicated areas.
* Recommends process improvements to supervisor or management.
* Use and read a tape measure to 1/32 inch and other measuring instrument or devices.
* Able to use hand and power tools which includes: welding clamps, vise grips, square, wire cutting dikes, scrapers, hammers, drills, impact guns etc.

Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential garage doors and openers.

Compensation:
Hourly pay range: $40 - $50/hour for candidates with experience (rate DOE).

Responsibilities:
